exhibition stand design a case study
Netgem provides the technology, the expertise and the flexible business model to help operators develop innovative convergent services combining the best of TV, Internet and multimedia home network contents. Netgem took a stand at the IPTV Forum 2010 at Olympia in the last week of March. It needed to host 2 monitors running content, one being end user content from a stylised domestic setting where the end user would naturally see their platforms, and one would market Netgems proposition in a B2B format. Set top boxes also needed to be showcased along with a reception counter - all on a 5 x 4 m stand space.
our brief
Ideas / concepts Ideas were brainstormed and a lounge setting was 3D modelled to get a sense of how the space would work for the client and delegate alike. A pod was considered for dispensing literature and branding the corner from two approach lines.
ideas/concepts
Visual Costing exercises were run to see if ideas could be be workable with the client’s budget and graphic treatments considered and 3D modelled.
conceptualisation
Artwork The design included an user-interface style applied to the list of highlights and the model image was retouched to suit the brand. Flatscreens were shown in situ as were the suggested positions of fireplace and picture frames.
