Typical page layout suggestion incorporating header/footer
We use many colours in our branding to portray the energy of the College. However there are one or two recurring colours that crop up frequently.
Use of a header and footer provides a strong sense of brand. They should be used whenever possible. The header or footer can be excluded if vertical space doesn’t allow.
Waltham Forest College Blue
Pantone 301
The header and footers sit to top or bottom of the page and roughly take up an area no less than one tenth of the vertical height each. Different colours and opacities can be used for this panel to suit subject area or complement and work with imagery chosen.
The footer uses the logo and a brief contact details of telephone (including international dialling details) and website URL. Full contact details should be used where possible on the rear of any literature together with any green credentials of paper stock
Main colour representing College.
Waltham Forest College Violet

Alternative Colour for consideration. Typical title

White is an important element of the WFC brand and should be used liberally.
Example Layout

College lifestyle Imagery
16-18 year olds ‘colour burst’ theme
Special colour burst theme for use on literature intended for school leavers or those 16-18 years old.
These graphic devices have been created to denote the vibrancy and vitality of the College. They help identify with the younger target audience in question.

On a rainy Wednesday afternoon, in a high scoring game the teamwork, skill and determination of the College football team was enough to overcome a motivated team made up of staff from all curriculum areas. The student team began confidently taking an early lead and quickly adding 2 more before half time. With the
score 3-0 and with half time minutes away, the staff were able to pull two back making the score 3-2 after 45 minutes. In a pulsating second half, the athleticism of the students shone through and the final score was 5-4. Captain of the College football team Andrean Kostadinov commented, “this was a really enjoyable afternoon despite the weather. The whole team were looking forward to this fixture and it was a great way to finish the season.”
