Biography
Tolga Neftçi is a Senior Logistics and Supply Chain Professional carrying 15+ years of management expertise in the client and provider side of FMCG, Chemical and Automotive industries of Fortune 500 companies. As Regional Logistics Manager, he directs Michelin’s Logistics Departments of Turkey and Greece and participates in the regional decision-making process as an Executive Committee Member. He spends 100+ days traveling abroad serving five different Business Units. Currently, Tolga is seeking for senior positions such as Head of Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations and / or Business Development preferably at a global company transacting in emerging markets such as Turkey, Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific. In 2010, as a threshold matter, Tolga’s first move at Michelin was to redesign, align, integrate and stabilize the order to cash system of Turkey in a multicultural and fast changing environment. Following the achievement of similar success for Greece, he launched and directed several regional tenders for Warehousing, Domestic Distribution, International Transport and Customs, where he realized $1,2M+ of savings against his budget. Later on, he coordinated an “Operational Planning Process” and reduced Turkey’s “Order Fulfillment Lead Time” by 40%, which reversed the inventory growth and accelerated sales as a competitive advantage. In 2013, Tolga was called to participate in a unique 30 days Executive Leadership Program made available to only the top 1% of globally qualified executives, which was held in the Michelin headquarters in France. Prior to joining Michelin, Tolga worked for DHL as Operations Manager of FMCG and Chemical Industries, where he was responsible for the management of Supply Chain and Logistics operations of local and global accounts such as Henkel, Reckitt Benckiser, Frito Lay, Mars Food, Nestle and Ülker. His responsibilities involved the coordination of Operations and Account Management, P&L Management, 3rd Party Management, Procurement, Quality Assurance, Health and Safety, Technical & Corporate Responsibility and Process Optimization. Tolga was recognized as playing a direct role in several significant start up, integration and alignment projects at DHL. Tolga studied in Boston and holds a B.Sc. degree from Northeastern University in Business Management and an A.A.S degree from Newbury College in Management. He speaks English, French, and Turkish fluently and he is conversant in Italian. He was born on July 06, 1974 in Istanbul and currently resides there with his spouse Nazlı, who is an Associate Professor of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy. At his spare time, Tolga weighs his anchor and sets sail with his team, in which he serves as a Bowman. Currently, they are preparing for their upcoming challenging races in Turkish seas. Despite at times tough weather conditions, he buckles down to weekly trainings with the motto “Calm seas never make skilled sailors”.

Coordinated an “Operational Planning Process” and successfully reduced Turkey’s “Order Fulfillment Lead Time” by 40% which reversed the inventory growth and triggered breakout results in top-line growth, earnings, and valuation as a competitive advantage. Integrated the National Logistics Activities of Turkey into Europe Region in a multicultural and fast changing environment. Implemented the Standard Operating Procedures, WMS, TMS, and Order Management Systems, created and stabilized the KPI’s with Total Quality Management approach. Effectively prepares, agrees and manages the Regional Logistics Budget of $40M+ for functional and support costs.
