J.B : So good olde “Wyoming” home to the wild west Hellraiser “buffalo Bill” and “Crazy Horse” not to mention “Olde Faithfull” and the first public Library in any state? And the birth place of some good up beat Punk rock? MC: And the first to let women vote! Equality state! J.B: So you started on Red Scare then moved to Fat for some time and most recently decided to go with Rise Records is it because they are more known for the association to the warp tour? MC:Nope. J.B: The new album “Tales from Wyoming” was the title contributed to general life living on the plains and growing up in less populated State? MC: Yeah it’s not about cowboys or buffalo or anything, but it is about the stuff we loved growing up here: pizza, scary movies, girls. J.B: Previous releases were recorded at the Blasting Room in Colorado and now you decided to go with the legendary “ Bill Stevenson” for engineering on “Tales”. Did you feel his input and years of knowledge would prove the difference for the direction you wanted to go with? MC: We just wanted to make the absolute best record we could, and Rise provided the opportunity to work with Bill so of course we said fuck yes! J.B: I’ve listened to the album front to back and backwards a couple of times! oddly I feel as though “There are some good messages while played backwards” but in summary “Love..Goddam punk girl ahh shit.. relationship..Pizza anybody?..Horror movie..deranged night creeping..dirty habit..Bullshit..T.V vegging.. Fuck Everything. Clarity” Did I miss anything in there? MC: There’s a song about Metallica J.B: What inspires the lyrical content in the songs that people latch too and can relate with? M.C: We write about what we know. For example we love Metallica and pizza. J.B: “Tales From Wyoming” starts with a upbeat fast track “In your head” and then continues with the feel of some catchy old-school happy melodic punk with tracks “The Call me Steve” and “Been Too Long”.
