The 10th issue of Curiosity, Wits University’s research magazine, is themed: #Mood and we make a critical contribution to mental health and wellbeing during the biggest pandemic of our lifetime: Covid-19. The World Health Organization predicts that mental health, a veiled enemy, will be our greatest challenge in the next decade. Our research sheds light on ADHD, suicide, depression, grief, Alzheimer’s disease and euthanasia. We answer the most pertinent questions around mental health and wellbeing through expert analysis and commentary on mental illnesses, and neurosciences broadly, and all the socio-economic, political, psychological, legal, ethical, cultural, technological and other interpretations thereof.
Produced by Wits Communications, Curios.ty is a print and digital magazine that tells the stories of pioneering research through the voices of the talented researchers, students and academics at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa.
