OUR OFFERING 1. Email blasts If you wish to maintain your brand awareness without being physically on campus as well as to notify students of your current opportunities, this option will be best suited to send targeted email communication to your preferred cohort of students. Students can be selected by faculty, degree and year of study. Cost – R1 800.00 per faculty Wits has 5 faculties; Commerce Law & Management (CLM), Humanities, Health Sciences, Engineering and the Built Environment, Sciences. Faculties and Schools - Wits University

2. Social Media Posting Graduate Recruitment Facebook, Twitter, Linked-In and Instagram. Cost – R900

3. Business Whatsapp Business WhatsApp is GRP’s virtual and alternative recruiting platform that allows you to launch recruitment campaigns, attract and engage the most sought after candidates. The service allows companies to send out messages to students at a large scale. Companies doing a presentation will be entitled to a free Business WhatsApp message sent to their target audience to advertise their campus visit. The unit will send the Business WhatsApp text on your behalf or you can provide text with a maximum of 160 characters including spaces. Cost – R900


4. Virtual Presentations Present your graduate opportunities and company to students online via Ms Team. An hour is allocated for the entire presentation. GRP will market and advertise your presentation to students through GRP social media platforms and via a targeted email. Should you wish to have students RSVP you are welcome to provide us with a link and/or email to receive reservations. Alternatively you can host the presentation on your preferred company platform and GRP will market your event to your targeted students. These virtual presentations commence in March 2022 till September 2022 subject to the University term dates. Cancellations made 3 weeks prior to the event will be liable for full costs. Cost – R2500 Company Platform – R1800

5. Virtual Careers Webinar The Careers Webinars are spread over 4weeks with each week focussing on a specific degree/faculty. Maximum of 6 companies per day are hosted for each degree/faculty specific webinar. Companies are provided different time slots (1hr) each to choose to present. Slot availability is on a first come first serve basis. The 4 career webinars are; Accounting, Math, IT&Science, Engineering and Wits General All Degrees. The webinars are scheduled in August as per below: Engineering - 2nd & 4th August Accounting – 9th & 11th August Math, IT &Science – 16th & 18 August Wits Genral All degrees – 23rd & 25th August Cost – R3600 per webinar per slot Registration closing date is the 2nd July 2022. No late applications will be accepted. Cancellations after the 2nd July will be liable for full costs. Virtual Internship webinar This webinar is aimed at students across all degrees interested in internship opportunities. The event offers companies the opportunity to make early contact and to raise awareness about the internships on offer. Cost – R3 600.00 Date: 30 May 2022 Closing date for registrations is 30 April 2022. Cancellations made after the closing date will be liable for full costs.


6. On Campus Career Fairs (Covid 19 protocols applicable)

Due to Covid, on campus career fairs will be limited to 6 companies per event. These will be spread over the periods of April – July 2022. The career fairs will offer companies the opportunity to market their organisation to students. Staff and student assistants will only be available from 07h30 in the morning of the event for assistance. Companies are advised NOT to bring hand-outs that can be used to make loud noises that might directly or indirectly interrupt classes as well as cause harm to others. Strict Covid 19 rules must be applied. The following is included on the price: a shell scheme, plug point, a light, name on fascia, trestle table, 2 chairs and a hot lunch for a maximum of 3 people for a single stand. Career Fairs run from 08:30 – 15:30. Please note only outside venues will be utilised. Set up: Companies have a voluntary option to setup the evening before or on the morning of the event. Should companies choose to set up the evening before the fair, neither the Counselling and Careers Development Unit nor the University of Witwatersrand will be held liable for any damage, loss and/or theft to property and/or belongings. 7. On Campus Company Presentation (Covid 19 protocols applicable)

Evening presentation to students, on either East or West Campus from 17h00 – 19h30 latest. Posters and marketing material to be supplied by companies for us to market and advertise your presence to students. For posters (Max 25 no bigger than A3 size) will be displayed on notice boards of targeted students. Companies can get students to rsvp and cater for these presentations, for more info contact the GRP Office grp.ccdu@wits.ac.za. Audio-visual equipment will be available for the presentation however no laptop will be provided. A technician will be available to assist with setup and the presentation will also be announced on the campus radio station. Each presentation will run from 17h00 (venue dependent) Please note that companies will only have access to the venue during the above stated times and not earlier unless lectures finish early.

Companies opting for this service to ensure delivery of their marketing materials a month prior the event to ensure adequate marketing to students. Cost – R4 500.00


8. Bi-Annual Graduate Recruitment Guide/ Newsletter Companies are welcome to advertise in the Graduate Recruitment Programme bi-annual online newsletter. Advertising space will be offered on a first come first served basis and advertisements will only be confirmed once payment has been received. No refunds will be granted in the event of a cancellation after the closing date. All requests for cancellation must be submitted in writing. The newsletter will be packed with job and career related resources to upskill and prepare students for the world of work and related opportunities. This is a great platform to make your brand stand out and also advertise graduate opportunities. 9. Hire a Student Ambassador Companies can utilise students to help market their brand / events and graduate opportunities to fellow students. These students are hired based on the University’s part time student rates per hour. 10. Student Employment Portal The student employment portal is accessible to all Wits registered students. Share your internships, part-time and graduate opportunities, as well as bursary and scholarships to the Wits community online. Directly upload opportunities and have access to student applications. Cost

- R6500.00 for 30 days. - R8000.00 for 60 days. - R9000.00 for 90 days.

Part time / vacation work / casual work / internships that are 12 months and below as well as NGO opportunities are posted at no cost.


11. Journey to Employability Programme Collaborate and partner with the Wits Careers Centre towards producing universal graduates by facilitating presentations and workshops to enhance the student skillset to easily transition in the workplace. The programme also focuses on enhancing student job search skills. For a full programme and to partner please email raj.naran@wits.ac.za. Cost – free

12. Quarterly Promo Package @ R22 500.00 This package entitles you to: 1x Weekly Virtual Co Feature 3x Social Media posting (1x per month) 3x Targeted emailer service (1x per month per faculty) 6x Business WhatsApp posting Optional (with Ms Team / Zoom presentation) @ R23 500

13. Company Showcase (COVID 19 protocols applicable)

Due to Covid 19, the Unit can no longer allocate enclosed venues / foyers, companies will only be allocated outside space for their showcase. The event runs from 08h00 – 15h30. GRP will market your visit to your targeted students. Companies are requested to provide marketing material in advance to ensure adequate marketing. Cost – R15 000.00

14. Weekly Company Feature This new offer entitles companies to virtual marketing and brand awareness of your organisation on all GRP online platforms. Only one (1) company will be featured a week where you will be marketed to your targeted students. Companies can choose to have a Zoom/ Ms Team Q&A session. Companies must provide marketing material for GRP to market to targeted students. Cost – R5 000.00


15. Recruiters Welcome Breakfast & Year End Thank You The event aims to provide a platform through which members of the recruiting community are able to engage with university stakeholders. As partners in our mission to develop young people to be active and innovative members of our society, the CCDU requests that you join us to engage and share feedback. 16. Invoicing and Payment Services will ONLY be rendered upon receipt of proof of payment sent to finance for the attention of Joseph at joseph.godzwana@wits.ac.za and CC grp.ccdu@wits.ac.za Companies should allow maximum 10 days for the processing of an invoice once in receipt of a signed quotation and / or purchase order document. Cancellation procedures are applicable once bookings are reserved and quotation signed / purchase order document received.
