Good morning, Hilltoppers!

Today's newsletter features stories on WKU's gender-inclusive bathrooms, WKU football's win against UTEP, C-USA basketball predictions and underrated shopping locations in Bowling Green. Have a fantastic Friday and a lovely weekend.

Gender-inclusive restrooms provide a ‘safe space’ on the Hill

All-gender restrooms have multiplied across WKU’s campus since their advent on the Hill in fall 2015

WKU has 31 all-gender restrooms across 22 academic and administrative buildings according to the WKU All Gender Bathroom Directory In 2015, all-gender restrooms were only available in four academic buildings on campus, according to an August 2015 Herald article.

WKU Football cruised past winless UTEP 44-17 Thursday at Houchens-Smith Stadium with an explosive offensive attack

The passing and rushing attack were both on full display for the Hilltoppers as they went for 218 yards on the ground and 264 yards through the air

Redshirt sophomore quarterback Caden Veltkamp put together an impressive statline, throwing for 264 yards and three touchdowns and rushing for 50 yards and a touchdown

Conference USA announced the leagues preseason poll for mens and womens basketball Thursday, which saw WKU mens basketball predicted to finish second and WKU womens basketball to finish fourth

The predictions were voted on by each league’s 10 head coaches WKU mens received 85 points, just two behind Louisiana Tech’s 87 The Hilltoppers received two first place votes.
