US Post Office operation in DSU closes until further notice
The US Post Office operation in the Downing Student Union will close until further notice on Friday to “explore options to provide more comprehensive mail services to campus ” according to an email sent by Assistant Vice President of Business Services Jennifer Tougas Wednesday evening to faculty and staff WKU Mail Services currently offers delivery of incoming and processing of outgoing US Mail, along with collection and distribution of campus mail and Passport Services

Sigma Nu, Baptist Campus Ministry and LifeSkills host free Thanksgiving meal for those in need
LifeSkills, Sigma Nu fraternity and Baptist Campus Ministry hosted a free Thanksgiving meal for Bowling Green individuals in need on Wednesday According to its website, LifeSkills is an organization tasked with aiding people who struggle with addiction, mental illness and intellectual disabilities Amy Hinton, the community support program manager at LifeSkills said, “Our goal is to just be able to help them to live a life in recovery and help them to be able to have a fulfilling life ” Gabe Carson, a junior psychological sciences and healthcare administration major, planned the Thanksgiving meal. Carson said he works at LifeSkills and was involved with BCM before rushing Sigma Nu Carson said these connections gave him the idea for a co-sponsored Thanksgiving meal.

Chippin’ in: CEBS therapy dog supports WKU community
As students frequent study spots on campus and the offices of professors, “Professor” Chip is comforting scholars with his own office hours and trips around campus.
Corinne Murphy, dean of the College of Education and Behavioral Sciences and owner of the 3-year-old cavapoo, said her furry friend’s role on campus as the CEBS therapy dog is multifaceted.
“His two jobs include awareness and bringing calm and joy to our faculty, students and staff,” Murphy said
Mahurin Honors College hosts annual pancake night
The aroma of pancake batter and the sounds of laughter filled the lobby of the Honors College and International Center while students,faculty and staff gathered for free food and drinks at the annual end-of-semester pancake breakfast Hosted in the Mahurin Honors College from 5 p m to 7 p m , the pancake breakfast is an annual event to celebrate and relax before finals week and winter break, MHC Interim Associate Director Rodney King said.

WKU used a strong defensive performance Wednesday, defeating the Jackson State Tigers in a 79-62 home victory.

After over a week without a game, 3-0 WKU Women’s Basketball will travel to Abilene, Texas Thursday, Nov 21 as they look to continue their winning ways and take on the 23 Abilene Christian Wildcats
The Lady Toppers come into their game tomorrow on a nine-day break.
“We have had the opportunity to get bangs and things healed up a little bit, we ’ ve taken the day off, we came back and practiced real hard yesterday and we are about to get back to it today, I think the girls mentally are in a good place,” Head Coach Greg Collins said when asked about the extended break
