Since 2008, at the encouragement of the Board of Trustees, Washington and Lee has held regular alumnae events in chapters around the country with the goal of purposefully engaging women in the life of the university. The focus of these events is to update alumnae on campus life, engage them for leadership roles within the university community and encourage them to give back to W&L.
