Our goal is to attract jazz and music lovers from around the globe of all ages. We will place special attention throughout the Southwest to include: New Mexico; Nevada; Texas; west to California; and south to Sonoran Mexico. • Position the City of Scottsdale as the ultimate and preferred destination for national and international musicians, and jazz and blues lovers who want to experience the southwest in one of Arizona’s top-tier cities.
• Ensure that the City of Scottsdale is recognized as a major supporter of UNESCO’s International mission - the preservation of jazz music and its unique ability to unite people in all corners of the globe.
• Leverage relationships with IJDAZ partners which include Arizona Sister Cities, Global Chamber Phoenix, Consular Corp of Arizona and IJDAZ Network to help promote music’s strong positive values and intercultural dialogue between nations
