Conclusion The extensive use of precast and prefabricated building components, repetition of structural layout as well as the utilization of standardized components based on MS1064 in this building lead to a high total IBS score of 91 over 100, indicating a well-structured assessment system in this project. It has obtained the maximum points of 50 and 20 for part 1 and 2 respectively. However, the compliance of door and window sizes with MS1064 is overlooked. To further improve the score in part 3, W2 (450mm x 900mm) can be changed to 600mm x 1200mm, following the preferred size stated in MS1064. Similar amendment can be done for other doorsets and windowsets.
