Design is at the root of everything we do. To say it’s an obsession would not be overstating things. It has transformed our habits and our habitats. Wms & Co. offers everyday objects elevated by design and influenced by history. These are exquisitely practical tools to enhance daily life. Use them often and they will acquire the rich patina of service. We think they provide an intimate, personalized and deliciously off-line experience that can be hard to come by these days. Our desk accessories represent a considered mix of the esoteric and the highly pragmatic. Many of these simple things reflect the hand of the artisan or the quiet genius of the inventor. They are useful in ways that are difficult to quantify but, if pressed, we would say they make life a little more efficient and a lot more beautiful. More suited to marking your place in a hardbound copy of Infinite Jest or the OED than slipping into a paperback. Consider placing one of these weighty bands of folded metal on either side of a large tome to hold it open for display. Intended for bibliophiles and serious readers. Octagonal Personalized Hand Stamp
This elegant form is cast in bronze from a 19th-century paperweight, and transformed into the base for a personalized rubber stamp. The warmth and heft of the material endows this everyday object with an unanticipated lyricism and tactility. The slight asymmetry of the octagonal base indicates that it was most likely one of a kind. Enclosed is a card with a unique code and instructions to visit our online personalization portal to create a custom rubber imprint. Letter Opener
The design that inspired this piece was meticulously crafted in Kyoto of lightweight bamboo. We were quite taken with its pleasing line and the way it sits in the hand. So we had it copied in ebony wood and then, as a tribute, we had it cast in bronze and blackened bronze. We covet them all, and so might you. Hand crafted in Jaipur. Size 6.25�. Our extremely memorable memo pads are edged in a variety of metallics and one solid color. They come in three modular sizes that efficiently stack together to create different compositions. Metallic Foil Tape
This glamorous tape has the gleam and malleability of foil yet adheres like tape. Made of virtually pure copper or aluminum, it has a peel-off paper backing and comes in 25-meter rolls that fit a standard desk dispenser. To mention that it’s waterproof and cold- and heat-resistant may seem like gilding the lily, but it’s true. 15mm wide, 25 meters long, 3� core. 15

Edged in a variety of metallic colors, our hefty gray chipboard cards combine utilitarian understatement with Old World elegance.
