Aldrich’s Gingerbread Contest entries are accepted from Dec. 9 through 4 p.m. Dec. 25 in three categories: younger than 12, older than 12, and group or family. Entry forms are available at the store. Judging is at 2:30 p.m. Dec. 27; entries remain on display through Jan. 2.

Sunday, Dec. 13 “Oh Night Divine – A Romanza Christmas” presents a concert of traditional, sacred, classical and popular holiday music by three tenors from Canada at 7:30 p.m. at the Bay Club, 120 Spinnaker Place, Port Ludlow. Wassail served during intermission. Presented by Port Ludlow Arts Council; sponsored by American Marine Bank. Monday, Dec. 14 Puppets Please marionettes perform for young and old at 6 p.m. at Cape George Fire Hall, 3850 Cape George Road. Sponsored annually by East Jefferson Fire Rescue Firefighters Association, the free program is staged by Shirley and Terry McManus of Kingston. The show is followed by a visit from Santa and refreshments.
