Art Class Weekly during school term, Wednesdays, April 15 to June 24, 7pm to 9pm Do you want to learn to explore the artist within you? Are you already trying your hand at art? Have you always wanted to draw or paint but do not know where to start? Do you currently practice but want new ideas or a social art time? This is the workshop for you. Bookings essential. Neighbourhood House Week and Mother’s Day Celebration Friday, May 8, 3.30pm to 6.30pm Neighbourhood houses and community centres work at the heart of their communities, offering activities, programs and services that support the community - essentially they bring people together. It is time to celebrate and thank neighbourhood houses and community centres for everything they do. Community Veggie and Herb Garden

Do you want to be involved in the creation of the Baranduda Community Centre veggie and herb garden? We are looking for some local gardening enthusiasts to help steer the creation, planting and maintaining of the garden. Sunday Breakfasts Sunday, April 26, May 31, June 28, 9.30am to 10.30am We may not be able to make you breakfast in bed, but we can certainly spoil you with breakfast by the lake. Each month Felltimber will be holding a free Sunday Breakfast where you can meet new people, enjoy your meal and soak up the beautiful surrounds. Friday Playgroup Fridays, April 17 to June 26 School terms excluding public holidays, 9.30am to 11.30am We welcome all families to come and enjoy a cuppa, meet others, while the kids get to play. Please bring some fruit to share for morning tea. Cost: $4 per session casual or $33 per term. Families are required to sign up to Playgroup Victoria via playgroup.org.au for insurance. COMMUNITY CENTRE Kids Fishing Fun Three Wednesdays from May 27, June 3 and June 10 from 5pm to 6pm. Learn the basics of fishing in a safe environment. Program finishes with the Felltimber Fishathon. Designed to encourage kids to partake in fishing that will entertain and build on skills. Promote the skills of fishing whilst educating what regulations apply to fishing in the local area. Fish-a-thon Saturday, June 13, 2pm to 4.30pm Community members of all ages are welcome to come and join in the fun at our next Free Fish-a-thon event. A free barbecue including dinner and drinks will be provided. A range of workshops on how to fish with plenty of help available. Felltimber High Tea Fundraiser Sunday, May 3, 2.30pm to 4pm Enjoy a relaxing afternoon tasting the delights at our High Tea as part of the Felltimber Advisory Committee Fundraiser. Be pampered and have some time out with friends and enjoy a range of beautiful foods. This will be a stylish event without the usual cost of a traditional high tea. The funds raised go directly to local community projects. We will also draw the winner of the Mother’s Day raffle along with lucky door prizes. Bookings essential.
