Podesta's choreography is distinct amid the Australian contemporary dance landscape, seeming to have more in common with European or UK cutting-edge choreographers.

This performance, led by the Tim Podesta Creative Junior Company, will feature original works that explore the human condition through fluid, expressive movement. Designed for youth, these immersive workshops for contemporary, jazz and musical theatre singers will be led by Pink Flamingo Studios’ Niki Strauss. Australian Army Band Kapooka

Please note, online tickets will close 30 minutes prior to the show start time. Last-minute tickets are often available, with the box office open 45 minutes prior to show start times.

Car parking

All day, three and two hour car parking spaces are available in the adjacent car park until 5pm on weekdays. There are no restrictions during the evenings and weekends.

Public transport and taxis

Directly opposite The Cube Wodonga, on the west side of Hovell St is a taxi rank and bus stop. You can contact Wodonga Taxis on (02) 6024 3444. Bus timetables can be found at dysongroup.com.au. Please note there are no public buses on Sundays.

Accessibility

We aim to be an all-inclusive venue and support the Carer and Companion Card program.

The venue has wheelchair and scooter accessibility throughout, including an accessible toilet fitted with adult change table and toilet hoist.

An assistive listening system operates in the main auditorium. Please speak with the box office team for assistance.

Breastfeeding friendly, the venue is also fitted with a baby change table.

Community Accessibility

A volunteer supported community transport service for local residents who are unable to drive and not able to access other forms of transport.

For a small fee, eligible residents can be transported from their home to and from medical appointments, hospital admissions, day and educational programs, social activities and receive assistance to access local shopping centres.

Complimentary ticket program

The Cube Wodonga is committed to making our programming accessible to everyone. Through not-for-profit organisations we offer free tickets to select shows featured in The Cube Season, for those in our community facing barriers or unique circumstances that prevent them from purchasing tickets. This is to ensure that everyone, regardless of their situation, can enjoy the magic of theatre.

Mob Tix

The Cube Wodonga ensures discounted tickets are available for First Nations people. Mob Tix is an allocation of tickets that allows First Nations peoples access to a discounted rate for certain shows. The Mob Tix program has been created to enhance opportunities and accessibility for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, as well as for First Nations peoples to attend our events. You can book Mob Tix when purchasing tickets to shows where they are offered. Selecting Mob Tix may indicate race or ethnic origin which is considered sensitive information, Privacy and Data Protection Act, 2014. This data is only used to provide a discount for First Nations attendees. Please read the terms and conditions on the payment page when booking your tickets on how we store and protect this data.
