Broga and Mindfulness in the gallery

Inside Out Recent and new works by four regional artists Friday, June 2 to Saturday, June 24 This group exhibition will feature painting, sculpture and photography by artists from North East Victoria and the Border including Stephen Anderson, Peter O’Dwyer, Ken Raff and Eric Saros. Deeply concerned about local, national and global disconnection from the diminishing natural environment, their love of the bush, the urban environment, and all that is good about being human, is the glue that holds these men (and their exhibition) together. Workshops for schools with Peter O'Dwyer: Sculpture and painting workshops specifically aimed at school groups. Workshops can be arranged from June 5 to June 23, 2017, between 10am and 3pm. This session will teach participants how to make their own zine using DIY materials found around the home as well as typewriters and a variety of analogue creative tools. Each participant will walk away with their very own zine, backed up with an understanding of what a zine is and how to distribute and publish them. Zine creator Jeremy Staples will share his knowledge and inspire the community to create.

Print Gocco Monday, July 3 5pm to 8pm Wodonga Library Gocco printing originated in Japan and is a mix of traditional screen printing and pressure printing. Popular with young people in the 1970s, it is in the midst of a revival thanks to the ‘do-it-yourself’ philosophy and the ability to print images on the spot.
