Grass cutting this year

We’ve put new measures in place for cutting grass, in parks and open spaces, to avoid the problems with the service last year. The service was not what we or you expected.

These changes are designed to solve the issue of unpredictable weather by making the service more flexible and able to react faster if snags arise.

They include making sure our contractor’s staff are sufficiently trained and have invested in the right equipment. Our Countryside Service resources will also be on standby to step in if necessary.
