DESIGN CONCEPT Togetherness & Refreshing

Designing a garden that supports togetherness and a means of refreshing for families after a long day of work or school.

A place to develop talent

Introverted space to support the activities of residents who enjoy "me time".

Designing a garden is expected to be a place for families to develop their potential / hobbies.

Noise Designing a garden that can be placed in an appropriate position or at least minimize the sound heard from surrounding noise (vehicles and others).

The side garden is designed for relaxation, meditation, yoga and more. So it is designed both acoustically and architecturally to support the function of the garden.

The back garden is made into a semipublic zone so that guests can also feel the modern tropical feel. Then also to fulfill the hobbies of the residents, an outdoor kitchen & picnic area was made.

The front garden serves as a barrier that blocks direct visuals from the street into the house. So that it still gives a private impression. The garden is designed using bamboo, pandanus, and other tropical plants.

Survey existing location: intersection, path (as in Tentara Pelajar Street. Make a full data analysis from design problem to synthesis. Presented a design that addresses the issues of green building. At the same time, it fulfills the building regulations in the cultural heritage zone.

CONCEPT Tabula Rasa is a Latin term that literally means blank sheet. The term is used in philosophy and psychology to describe the idea that humans are born without any knowledge, experience, or inclinations, and then subjected to environmental influences and life experiences that shape their personalities and minds into active and interesting centers of activity and life.

SIDES

In this sense humans are seen as "blank slates" ready to be filled with life experiences and learning. This concept can also be applied to the view that everyone has equal opportunities in life and that their circumstances and environment play an important role in shaping who they are. 10
