About Women Business Owners Women Business Owners (WBO) is a 501c3 non-profit organization, founded in February 2004 with the mission to educate, empower, and enhance the lives of women business owners and children throughout the world. About the 2009 Convention

WBO National Business Convention Provided by Office Max, Inc. October 22-24, 2009 Convention Theme: "Wild About Business" WBO National Business Convention presented by Office Max, Inc. will be held in Houston, Texas on October 22-24, 2009. Five Hundred women entrepreneurs from around the world will experience a convention of networking, workshops, and a live business expo. Our attendees will kick-off this years convention with business socializing and keynote speakers during our semi-formal reception at the Houston Marriott North at Greenspoint on Thursday, October 22nd. Our attendees will continue building their business with live, hands-on interaction with each of our panelist led workshops and key note speaker on Friday at the Humble Civic Center. Each Three Day Attendee will have the opportunity to showcase their business during our Business Expo (open to the public) on Saturday at the Humble Civic Center! “Learning how to work effectively and efficiently so that your personal life does not suffer in the beginning years. Learn how to join together and make mastermind groups, support groups, and other related teams of women that support, guide, and stimulate each other. It is a phenomenal experience to join together and share wealth of knowledge and to know that you're not alone.�

Slattery, Thursday evening Keynote speaker and Friday Workshop speaker, lives her life with energy, passion and enthusiasm because she realizes each moment is precious. Nancy Williams, Thursday evening Keynote speaker and Friday workshop moderator, is best known as an “Encourager.” As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Life Coach, she maintains a private practice in the Houston, Texas area – providing counseling, coaching and consulting services in a Christian setting to adults addressing a variety of life management concerns in their personal and professional lives. An experienced conference speaker, teacher and writer, Nancy weaves together warmth, wit and wisdom as she genuinely connects with her listeners and challenges them to live their best life. Nancy enjoys writing an inspirational column with a focus on life management entitled “Keeping Your Balance” that currently appears in multiple community newspapers in the northeast Houston area.
