Women for Jesus 5 Anniversary celebration We are proud to announce our 5th anniversary celebration which will be taking place on the 11th of July. What a wonderful 5 years it has been! Through it all we have tasted and seen God’s goodness. His continuous faithfulness has seen us through and we have made some incredible connections along the way. Not only have we grown tremendously, but we truly believe that this ministry is truly planned and orchestrated by God himself, and he has sustained to this very moment. To see women growing into women of influence across all spheres of life and connect to God’s purpose in a supernatural way is an overwhelmingly rewarding feeling. Two years have lapsed since we hosted something of this nature because we believe during those years; God was equipping us and calling us to connect with the community. This year, He has once again redirected us to connecting with women and equipping them to a life of influence in their careers, spiritual lives, and their relationships. Our Conference will be one that will truly impact women to step out and let their light shine amongst nations. Under our theme Lighthouse, we have invited speakers of note to address us on aspects surrounding what it means to be a lighthouse in our spheres of influence. Furthermore, we will be launching our mentorship programme in Polokwane which will commence next year. We encourage you to partner with us in this. This promises to be not just a conference, but a revival for women. Book your ticket early to avoid disappointment. (Details included on the poster). Feel free to contact us should you require further information.

PS: We will have a photo-booth, pop-up sale and refreshments!! See you there. Love and Blessings. WomenForJesus team

Woman of Influence: Mosiah Tau We had the privilege of interviewing Miss Limpopo 2015 Mosiah Tau. This woman is not only a beauty pageant queen, but is truly living a life of influence. From her studies to her involvement in the community, her life truly echoes the essence of using your platform to advance the lives of others.

We hope that her story inspires you to use your platform to serve others as Christ intended.

Tell us a bit about yourself? Your background, where you grew up ; and most memorable moments. I am a loving and friendly, God fearing young woman who is ambitious and likes exploring. My name actually means Moses, and just like Moses in the Bible I believe that I was born to lead although I used to doubt my calling. I grew up in a household that was dominated by women and that has made me a courageous and independent young woman. I went to a convent high school for girls only and there I learned to be comfortable as a woman and to appreciate my femininity, despite my tomboyish tendencies. What made you decide to enter Miss Limpopo? It actually started out as a dare [lol]. I like daring myself and I have a quote that I live by that says “Respond to every call that excites your spirit- Rumi. The idea fascinated me and it got me excited just like the one I’ve always had as a kid, of becoming Miss South Africa. So I decided to give it a try. It was only after I made it as a finalist that I realised that this was no joke. When the competition got more serious I had to decide to either do it wholeheartedly or let it go. I guess I made the right choice How has being Miss Limpopo impacted you? I literally learn every day! I am an engineering student so I am more of an analytic thinker and I like getting straight to the point in conversations.

Now as Miss Limpopo I find myself having to extend those conversations and making my ideas more interesting and convincing to attract sponsors and/or the people my projects will be targeting. It has helped me boost my confidence and explore my leadership and

communication skills. And of course I’m inspired by all the wonderful people I get to work with. What have you learned during your reign and what would you like other women aspiring to walk this very road to know? I have come to learn that you don’t only need to love and appreciate yourself, but you also need to be confident in your confidence! There are a lot of beautiful women in this world and some may intimidate you and so appreciating your identity, your worth and sense of style is vital. If you try to be someone you are not, you are not going to survive for long especially in the world of pageants. Although it sounds like a cliché, it really is real Which organizations have you had the opportunity to work with, and what have you learned or aspire to apply? I have worked with a couple of homes for cerebral palsied children, and I have more future projects coming up through which I get to work with youth organizations. I chose to have my platform as youth development and empowerment because I believe that we the youth are the future. Limpopo is a very disadvantaged province with high crime, teenage pregnancy and unemployment rates. I would like to see that change. My goal as Miss Limpopo is to encourage the youth to participate in community based activities and to start taking action on preparations for their future. I have confidence in that if the youth takes charge of their lives then there is hope for a better future for our province and the country as a whole. What are your future plans after your reign is done? My plan is to establish an organization that will continue impacting the youth even after my reign. Development is a process and relentless motivation is required to see it through and I would like to continue impacting lives and inspiring positive change even years after my reign. Lastly, any personal quote which you can’t live without? I like the quote from Spencer Johnson’s book ‘who moved my cheese’ “what would you do if you weren’t afraid?” and an extract from a poet by the name of Erin Hanson and it says “’What if I fall?’ Oh but my darling what if you fly?” I believe that you will never know how capable you are unless you actually try, so just do it!

We applaud you woman of influence

Final note: Conference Preparations As much as this is an exciting time for us, it has also been a challenging one. With exams and life’s demands, it has increasingly become difficult to manage both the ministry and our personal life. As much as they are intertwined, we rely heavily on the Holy Spirit to encourage and steer us in the right direction. Moreover, we are consistently thrown in situations that test our character. It has become imperative that we rely heavily on the fact that this ministry was ordered by God, and we are called by Him. None of it is through human effort, and this is definitely not a social club with the conference coming up, we appeal to you to join us in prayer for God’s purpose to be fulfilled and for women to take home what will truly change their lives. Furthermore, if you would like to contribute financially to the ministry/sponsor the conference contact us on 0713569928. Your assistance will be highly appreciated. Blessings
