Summer is in full swing at Woodbridge, and there's no better way to celebrate the season than with our sunny Drink of the Month: The Solarium Cocktail.

This refreshing and vibrant cocktail features the exquisite Empress 1908 Gin, known for its striking indigo hue and balanced botanical flavor. The Solarium Cocktail is the perfect blend of citrus and floral notes, creating a symphony of taste that will elevate your summer evenings.

The Solarium Cocktail Recipe

Ingredients:

• 1.5 oz Empress 1908 Gin

• 0.75 oz fresh lemon juice

• 0.5 oz simple syrup

• 2 oz fresh squeezed orange juice 2-3 dashes of orange bitters

Instructions:

Combine Ingredients: Start by adding 1.5 oz of Empress 1908 Gin to a cocktail shaker. This gin, with its unique botanical blend, forms the base of our cocktail, providing a smooth and aromatic foundation.

Add Citrus and Sweetness: Pour in 0.75 oz of fresh lemon juice and 0.5 oz of simple syrup. The lemon juice adds a zesty brightness, while the simple syrup balances it with a touch of sweetness.

Infuse with Orange Essence: Next, add 2 oz of freshly squeezed orange juice. This ingredient not only enhances the cocktail's citrus profile but also gives it a beautiful sunny hue.

Aromatic Touch: Finish with 2-3 dashes of orange bitters. These bitters add a subtle complexity and depth to the cocktail, rounding out the flavors perfectly.

Shake and Serve: Shake the mixture vigorously with ice until well-chilled. Strain into a chilled glass and garnish with a twist of orange peel or a slice of fresh orange for an extra touch of elegance.
