December: Fast and Wet

December was a short month, and the weather left much to be desired. However, we still celebrated the season with our annual Christmas party. A special thank you to Laura Reeves for organizing a fantastic lunch and to Kim D’Angelo for overseeing the members’ gifts. A few of our Ladies brought extra holiday cheer by decorating the tables in their unique Christmas styles.

During the party, we handed out the 2024 awards. Congratulations to all the winners! Most Improved Golfer went to Jill Thompson.

This year, we welcomed five new members to our group. Sadly, we also said goodbye to Jackie Katzakian, who will be playing with the Niners next year.

As we move into 2025, Kim D’Angelo and Laura Reeves will continue as Co-Captains. We’re excited to welcome Melissa Krebill to the board as our new Rules Chair and Rene Donaldson as Member-at-Large. We look forward to another great year with the WWGA!

We also want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Woodbridge staff for all they do to make our events successful and enjoyable. Here’s to a fun and successful 2025!
