CRITERIA FOR THE MOST OUTSTANDING PRACTITIONERS IN ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING (VARIOUS FIELDS) The Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers of the Philippines, Inc. (IIEE), in connection with the 39th Annual National Convention, will present awards to Outstanding Electrical Engineering Practitioners in the different fields. Hereunder are the minimum criteria for the nominees in each category. Each nominee shall: A. GOVERNMENT AND GOVERNMENT-CONTROLLED CORPORATION a. Have been an active regular member of IIEE for the last three (3) years; b. Be a holder of a valid REE or PEE license; c. Have had at least four (4) years of service in a government agency or governmentcontrolled firm; and d. Have held a responsible supervisory or staff position for the last two (2) years. B. EDUCATION a. b. c. d. e.
Have been an active regular member of IIEE for the last three (3) years; Be a holder of a valid REE or PEE license; Have had at least four (4) years of service in the academe; Have been actively involved in teaching EE subjects; and Have contributed to the development of new teaching materials and methods.
C. CONSULTANCY a. b. c. d.
Have been an active regular member of IIEE for the last three (3) years; Be a holder of a valid REE or PEE license; Have had at least four (4) years of active practice as PEE; and Have been engaged as a primary consultant in any of the following electrical engineering fields: 1. Investigation, planning and feasibility studies; 2. Electrical design, plans and specifications; 3. Operation and maintenance; 4. Construction and installation.
D. INDUSTRY a. Have been an active regular member of IIEE for the last three (3) years; b. Be a holder of a valid REE or PEE license; c. Have had at least four (4) years of active practice as licensed electrical practitioner; and d. Have held a responsible supervisory or staff position in the industrial, commercial and/or institutional establishment for the last two (2) years.
