Current Market I was recently asked by a client if I thought that the Real Estate market would “Improve”. I asked him what he meant by that. ‘A climate where more property is selling more easily,’ he replied. It is true that Real Estate transactions within the Perth metro area have dropped by around 40% and with that, loss of volume prices across the Board have been hit significantly....But most of the people we deal with are selling to trade up down or sideways, so ...sell low buy low, or indeed sell high buy high. I know not everyone is in this boat but certainly a good percentage of our clients are. So why is there a perception the real estate market is bad? I would much rather make a move to Up size , Downsize or Right size my property in this climate than in the rush and fury of a booming market. Many of our astute clients are making the most of the current climate to Trade properties and they realise if they wait for their property to be worth another $50,000 they will end up giving it to the next person they buy from. If your finances stack up, my opinion is make your move or indeed extend your Real Estate Wealth now. The Market is excellent for it.
