We will strictly enforce this in order to keep our animal care team protected while still maintaining the most essential function of our operation... finding homes for animals in need.

He bonds strongly with people he becomes familiar with, but it takes him some time to get there as he appreciates a slow introduction to new visitors. His ideal home would be with adults only and no other animals. He will need to go home with a family who has large dog experience and who are familiar with dogs that need their space respected. Remington, Remy for short, is very smart. He knows how to sit, lay down, give paw and is a great listener. He loves his toys and has used them at the shelter as a source of comfort, often carrying them around from place to place. If you are in his circle of trust, he will gladly bring them to you and show them off. If someone unfamiliar tries to take them, Remy will growl and if pushed may snap. He loves attention and scratches from his people and will make a great companion for a single person or older couple looking for a dog who likes to walk and have fun with them and then go home for snuggles and naps. As of March 25, 2020 As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to evolve, we want to share with you some changes we have implemented so that we can continue to serve the pets and people of our community while keeping our team protected.
