How to Become an Effective Representative To be able to represent the students on your course, ensuring that you play your part in the Feedback loop is really important. Feedback is important because it lets the University know what matters to students, enabling them to make improvements based on student needs. Collecting feedback is also a useful way to strengthen your arguments during meetings if you want a particular action to happen. It is also important to feedback to students so that they recognise how important their feedback is, that they are being listened to, and action has been taken.
