The venue was absolutely amazing and very reasonably priced. Our Wedding Coordinator was brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble, and she was always on hand to answer any queries. The Front of House Manager was fantastic. Everything on the day ran like clockwork. Several guests have spoken to myself and echoed what I have said. The food was simply excellent.
It was also lovely that the Head Chef took the trouble to pop down and see us in the evening to see how everything was going. The bar staff and waiters were brilliant, very friendly and welcoming.

THE CHESTNUT MARQUEE
Our Chestnut Marquee often appeal for those slightly larger celebrations as it can comfortably cater for around 200 guests. With a private seating area located to the front of the boundary edge and the iconic view of the Worcester Cathedral as a backdrop for photographs, this beautifully positioned suite is hugely popular for weddings.
THE GRAEME HICK PAVILION
The Graeme Hick Pavilion boasts floor to ceiling windows overlooking our immaculate cricket pitch, and stunning Worcester Cathedral, making it the perfect backdrop. All rooms provide the perfect blank canvas to coordinate with any wedding theme.
The Chestnut Marquee is 3600 sq ft.
The Graeme Hick Pavilion is 2730 sq ft.
THE VIEW SUITES
The View Suites offer magnificent views across the Worcestershire landscape, providing an idyllic setting for your special day.
These suites can comfortably seat 80 guests.
The View Suite is 1220 sq ft.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How do we book our wedding?
A provisional booking can be held for two weeks. After this time, the date will be released to other enquiries. To confirm your booking, we request a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the estimated final bill.
Is car parking available?
There is plenty of free parking at New Road. Cars can be left overnight at the owners risk, but will need to be removed by 10am the following morning, or 8am should a cricket match be scheduled.
What time does the bar close and when do guests have to leave?
Last orders are at 11:45pm and the bar closes at midnight. However, we can extend this at an additional charge if required.
Who provides the catering?
All catering is provided in-house only. Our food is freshly prepared on site and sourced from local suppliers. Please let us know of any special dietary requirements your guests may have and our Chefs can create something specifically for them.
Can we arrange a visit?
Yes, please make an appointment with our events department.
Do you cater for children?
Yes, children are classed as 12 years and under and are charged at half the adult price.
Do you supply a cake stand and knife?
Yes, we have a square Silver Plated cake stand and knife, included in your package.
Can we decorate the day before our wedding?
Yes, depending upon availability. Can use our own DJ?
Yes, we just require a copy of their Public Liability Insurance.
Can we have live music?
Yes. In the Chestnut Marquee however, it cannot be performed through an amplifier.
Can we have our wedding if there is a cricket match on?
Depending on circumstances, we will be able to accommodate your requirements.
Is there accommodation?
There is a Premier Inn adjacent to our facilities.
Can we have fireworks?
Fireworks are permitted, providing a professional company is used for the supply and performance. Valid Public Liability documents will need to be provided. We do not permit the use of sky lanterns.
When is the final balance required?
Final numbers are required three weeks before your wedding. This is the minimum number for which you will be billed.
Do you have disabled access?
Yes, we have disabled toilets and access to all floors.
Can we provide our own drinks?
Yes, but we will require a corkage fee of £10 per 75cl bottle.
Do you supply chair covers?
Yes, this is included in your package.
Do you have a PA System?
Yes, there is a PA System in each of our facilities.
What happens to decorations at the end of the night?
We require all decorations to be removed by 10am the following morning.
