How to Pray for (and with) Your Adult Child

ur children do not belong to us. This is one of the most important points for Christian parents to remember, no matter the age or stage of their children. Our children are on loan to us from God. They come from God and are destined to return to God. Everything we do for them or say to them needs to respect the fact that our children are God’s children first. That’s why prayer has to be the most important part of any meaningful or difficult conversation you want to have with your adult children. In this chapter, we’ll look at several ways prayer can help you set the stage for fruitful discussions.
