Compass Theatre The Compass Theatre is owned and managed by the London Borough of Hillingdon with a small team of staff and volunteer assistance. Many local organisations have used the theatre to provide a wide and varied programme of community arts events, including activities for young people including Compass Kidz, Stars at Knight School of Drama, Pegasus Dance and music lessons. Since the purchase of the premises by the Middlesex County Council in 1947, there have been many changes due to changing political, economic and community needs. In 1925, the musical comedy No, No, Nanette opened and this was followed by many other musicals. In time the theatre became known as a musical house. Notable productions include, Jesus Christ Superstar, Les Miserables, The Woman in White, Spamalot and Priscilla Queen of the Desert. The Palace Theatre is currently home to Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
