Tell us a little of the background of DS Squared?

DS Squared Architects is an RIBA Chartered Practice and has been providing architectural services since 2007. We have two office locations; one in Fulham and the other in North West London, to provide services throughout the Capital to residential and commercial clients.

Do you offer pre-exchange assessments to residential clients?

In short YES! When buying a new home, the property may not be quite be what you want, but you see the potential to achieve your dream home. This may be by internal alterations, extensions including basements or possibly a knock down and new build to achieve the aspirations of your new home. We can undertake an initial feasibility study to provide you with clear guidance, identify any planning constraints and often suggest fresh ideas you hadn’t considered or perhaps even thought possible! This will to allow you to make an informed decision about your new acquisition.

What are the most popular requests from residential clients?

Can I extend? Can I have a basement? Can I change the internal layouts?...In most cases the answer will be a YES! At DS Squared Architects, we have in-depth knowledge of local council policies and can advise you clearly on what can be achieved to meet your vision for you new home. Once the development has been established, we offer a full Interior Design Service to support you in achieving the idyllic environment.

Is there a project you’ve completed which you are most proud of?

At DS Squared we take pride in every project no matter how small. However, we love the challenge of a large-scale refurbishment and have undertaken many new build residential projects in the London area. The images here are selected from our portfolio and show examples of new build developments and basement extension.
