The lowest levels of the hotel are hidden by a 125-foot wide corrugated crystal-like curtain that shines both inside and out. The hotel’s furnishings were designed by Gilles & Boissier, a Paris-based interior design firm that combines Baccarat’s French classic aesthetics with a fantastical modern sensibility. The 50-story skyscraper was designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, with residential design by Tony Ingrao, a New York-based designer and member of the Architectural Digest 100.
