I am honoured to welcome you to the second Dialogue Forum for the Community of Practice for Supply Chain Resilience in Canadian Health Systems. This event is an exceptional opportunity for our diverse members to come together, collaborate, and explore supply chain solutions. It is our shared responsibility to work closely and combine our expertise in healthcare, government, manufacturing, supply chain, logistics and academic domains to revolutionize the Canadian healthcare system. Leveraging our diverse perspectives and engaging in active knowledge sharing, while fostering multi-jurisdiction and multi-stakeholder collaboration is key to achieving supply chain transformation. Through our collective efforts, we can trailblaze a path towards advancing supply chain resilience in health systems and provide safe, effective, and equitable healthcare for all Canadians.

Dialogue Forum II will validate and finalize the workgroup priorities for co-design of solutions next year. As a Community of Practice, we will work together to design, implement and scale supply chain strategies that will strengthen equity, sustainability and performance of the healthcare system and its workforce. We will carefully examine synergies that exist between workgroups to enable multi-workgroup engagement and impact. Your insights and contributions to this discussion will play an essential role in establishing a clear path towards achieving a digitally enabled, integrated, and sustainable supply chain for healthcare systems. This event would not be possible without your invaluable support, knowledge, and contributions. Your participation is critical to overcoming the current barriers imposed by the fragility of the supply chain and enabling the tracking of supply chain performance, impact, and value. We are grateful for the support from our strategic partners, Shoppers Drug Mart and GS1 Canada. We extend our sincerest appreciation to our incredible lineup of renowned thought leaders, who have agreed to share their discerning insights and perspectives while identifying shared values, solutions, and priorities. We are thrilled to have you join us for Dialogue Forum II and look forward to continuing to work with you to build supply chain resilience in the Canadian healthcare system.
