EVENT OVERVIEW
from CoP for Supply Chain Resilience in Canadian Health Systems: Dialogue Forum II Program
by SCAN Health
Dialogue Forum Ii
SCAN Health is pleased to bring its Community of Practice members together to engage, collaborate and discuss supply chain resilience in Canadian healthcare systems at Dialogue Forum II. This event marks a critical milestone for the Community of Practice. In its first year, the Community of Practice established six workgroups composed of supply chain experts, industry executives, healthcare leaders, clinicians, government officials, and researchers focussed on advancing key features of the healthcare supply chain. Citizens support each workgroup by providing a lens on diversity, equity and inclusion to ensure strategies and solutions are developed with a person-centred approach. Dialogue Forum II will spotlight the priorities of each workgroup, explore synergies and areas of collaboration, and delineate the path forward to achieving a digitally enabled, integrated, sustainable, and safe supply chain for health systems.
Key Objectives
Validate and finalize workgroup priorities for solution co-design in year two;
Define outcomes, impact and value of priority solutions co-designed, such as equity, sustainability of workforce & health system performance; and
Examine synergies across workgroups, define strategy for multi-workgroup engagement.

Breaking Barriers to Broker Public-Private Sector Partnerships [Panel with Q&A]
12:20 – 1:20
Supply chains have been severely impacted during natural disasters and public health emergencies in recent years, yet evidence of learning from these experiences is limited. A key objective of this panel is to mobilize industry capacity and supply chain expertise to broker public-private sector partnerships in an attempt to gain a mutual understanding of challenges and strengths that already exist in the system. An alliance formation across public and private spheres will reduce silos, target complex problems of the healthcare supply chain, and enable creation and validation of frameworks, tools, and solutions, developed by diverse stakeholders, that are able to support more equitable and ethical supply chain management practices that protect all citizens and the healthcare workforce. This panel will explore the opportunities to improve private and public sector coordination and collaboration to advance supply chain resilience to strengthen quality, safety, and equitable access to critical products.
