MAsERAtI LEVANtE
Maserati reveals the exterior form of the Levante, the first SUV in the brand's more than one hundred year history: the new model completes the existing range of saloon and sports cars, extending the offering together with the Quaroporte, Ghibli, GranTurismo and GranCabrio models. The design of the Levante features clear associations with the Maserati brand and its distinctive Italian character: the aggressive front

Maserati's design signature is clearly visible on the sides: the three iconic air vents on the front wings, the trapezoidal C-pillar with the “Saea” logo and the large, frameless door windows. The rear is dominated by the very tapered back window and streamlined shape, both typical of a high-performance sports car.

VIP CHAMPAGNE
MCIII
MCIII OPENs A BRANd NEW ChAPtER IN thE stORY OF MOët & ChANdON. thE ULtIMAtE EXPREssION ANd dEFINItIVE FUsION OF thE hOUsE’s sAVOIR-FAIRE, MCIII REPREsENts thE PINNACLE OF WINEMAkING PROWEss hONEd FOR MORE thAN 270 YEARs, FROM MOët IMPéRIAL tO MOët & ChANdON GRANd VINtAGE tO MOët ICE IMPéRIAL.
An innovative, intuitive assemblage, MCIII is the crowning glory of centuries of expertise and an unprecedented concept in champagne making: For the very first time, the House has craed a champagne from vintage wines meticulously matured in three essential aging environments: metal, wood and glass. The quintessence of richly diverse forms of wine maturation, MCIII is an assemblage of fine vintage wines aged in stainless steel vats and oak casks combined with more mature vintage champagne aged on lees in glass boles. MCIII - A Pioneering Hybrid Creation This ultra-prestige cuvée is a bold new assemblage, a hybrid creation, a pioneering interpretation of multivintages champagne. MCIII masterfully embodies the force of diverse vintage wines matured in three different environments: metal, wood and glass. The uncommonly refined personality of MCIII lies in this strikingly pioneering blend, which renders the characteristics of each of the assembled wines even bolder and more forceful. Moët & Chandon captures the supreme aributes of each aging environment to cra a remarkable champagne, a trilogy of ideally balanced diversity.
|8|
The MCIII Trilogy: A 3-Tier Assemblage The philosophy underlying MCIII is based on a pioneering three-tier assemblage. Each tier complements and enhances the others for a perfectly integrated whole. Each tier contributes its individual, unique strengths without dominating the others to create a wine that is both appealingly complex and ideally balanced.
MCIII, State of the Art Moët & Chandon Both thoroughly Moët and singularly different, MCIII refines Moët & Chandon’s signature style to its very essence. The House’s ultra-premium cuvée is grounded in Moët & Chandon’s hallmark bright fruitiness, enticing palate and elegant maturity. Yet MCIII elevates these qualities to exquisite new heights for a champagne of compelling fruitiness, captivating palate and eminent maturity - a wine of ultimate complexity and harmony. The MCIII assemblage is driven by the Chef de Cave’s expertise, personal flair and winemaking instincts. Elaborating this champagne is a maer of orchestrating intricate dynamics that are constantly moving and evolving. MCIII is the result of a new vision that draws its inspiration from the unique personalities developed by the assembled wines in in their particular aging environments: metal, wood and glass. MCIII Cuvée 001.14 The creation of MCIII relies on a consistent concept: MCIII is a multi-vintage assemblage. Every successive MCIII saga—every unique expression of MCIII—will embody the same concept. Diverse wines will be united by a common philosophy and structure yet each will preserve its own personality. The first MCIII saga is the cuvée 001.14. ‘001’ references the first cuvée, and “.14” references the disgorgement date. This wine is the fruit of 10 years of assemblage and cellar aging. uk.moet.com/News/MCIII

LUXURY WATCHES
RIChARd MIL RM 007 LAdIEs' AUtOMAtIC An absence of women in the world of Richard Mille was totally inconceivable. Richard Mille wanted to create a feminine automatic watch that would combine beauty, ergonomics and technology. The very elongated shape, with its tense, modern lines and the way the case fits snugly on the wrist makes this an iconic watch. MAIN CHArACTerISTICS The 18K gold rotor with micro-ball compartment, is an exclusive patented RICHARD MILLE innovation which allows efficient rewinding of the mainspring by the optimal inertial force created. The free moving micro-balls in 18-carat gold found inside the compartment serve to absorb excess energy in case of shocks. In this way large shockwaves that normally could have devastating effects on the rotor are therefore reduced and this safeguards the system’s mechanism. CROWN In grade 5 microblasted grade 5 titanium, red gold or white gold, with double seal O-ring and collar in Alcryn®.
| 12 |
WATCHCASe The design and execution of the watch demonstrate a complete conceptual approach to the movement, case and dial. As a result, everything has been constructed according to an extremely rigorous specification, in the manner of the data processing used in the design of Formula 1 racing cars where the chassis and the engine are developed in complete harmony. For example, a casing ring is no longer used and the movement is mounted on chassis mounting rubbers (ISO SW) fixed by 4 titanium screws. Features such as these are evidence of uncompromising workmanship. The tripartite case is water resistant to 50 meters, ensured by three Nitril O-ring seals with tube driven in and glued. Assembly with spline screws (12) in grade 5 titanium and abrasion resistant washers in copper-nickel- zinc alloy.

Quiet times at San Clemente Palace Kempinski Venice
>>
Given the crowds that throng Venice from now until autumn, the appeal of a hotel on an island away from San Marco is obvious. Of course the quid pro quo is that you cannot step out from its door and walk to wherever you’re going, but must summon (or wait for) the hotel launch. And the upside is usually privacy, quiet, gardens, a pool, the atmosphere of a resort and glorious views. No wonder the Cipriani, set on a small island less than 10 minutes from San Marco, has held sway since 1958. And that JW Marrio, when it finally opened a hotel in the city last year, chose the Isole delle Rose, which lies 15-20 minutes by boat south of Giudecca, as its location. www.kempinski.com/en/venice/san-clementepalace-kempinski/

Luxury News Lowry celebrates 15th anniversary of becoming 'city's first five star hotel
>>
It started with a patch of barren land and a spectacular piece of Catalan architecture sweeping across the River Irwell. It ended with the city's 'only five star hotel' - which celebrates its 15th birthday this week. In 1995, despite spats at town hall planning meetings over the £1.9m cost, a new footbridge opened linking Manchester and Salford. It was designed by Valencian architect Santiago Calatrava, and resembled the mast of a super yacht. Salford council was the main driving force behind its creation. It led from St Mary’s Parsonage in Manchester to a desolate empty plot on the Salford side of the river - optimistically christened Chapel Wharf. The hope was that the bridge would act as a catalyst for development by linking the twin cities. It paid off when Sir Rocco Forte was dazzled by the bridge’s curves and decided its path straight into the city centre was the clincher as he searched for a site for a new hotel. www.thelowryhotel.com
