Upon entering the 195 square metre (2,098 square feet) suite through bespoke Bentley-painted double doors, guests are greeted by the defining characteristics of the luxury automobile brand: a blend of cream and neutral tones, set against the rich wood finishes, elegant marble floors and leather accents on handcraed furnishings. The entrance to the suite features polished steel detailing and a sleek walnut veneer ceiling. In the living room, an exquisite LED chandelier inspired by the headlights of the Mulsanne takes center stage above the 12-seat, smoked fiddleback veneer dining table. Adding to the room’s mix of rich textures is a carved rug reminiscent of the matrix grille on the Mulsanne. Consistent with Bentley’s ‘hidden delights’ concept, the main wall slides back to expose a TV screen and five Breitling clocks keeping time across major gateway cities. The adjacent study echoes Bentley’s signature Mulliner room with veneer walls, a silk carpet and a luxurious porpoise sofa adorned with cushions featuring Bentley seat belt detailing. Offering residential serenity, this study interprets the signature concept of concealing to reveal a custom made multi-compartment coffee table and Bentley ice lacquer and porpoise hide tray detail. The master bedroom features stitched leather walls and bedside tables inspired by the Mulsanne Speed wing emblem in Burr walnut. In the dressing room, Bentley’s signature diamond detailing is etched into the frame of the mirror. Designed and engineered in Crewe from the ground-up, the Mulsanne is the pinnacle Bentley model and epitomizes Bentley’s heritage and passion for power and speed. In addition to the Bentley Suite, The St. Regis Dubai offers guests an exquisite Bentley Mulsanne as its signature courtesy car. Complementing the collaboration, the hotel’s St. Regis Bar features a mural of a vintage Bentley Mulsanne by artist Roberto Raad. During their stay, guests will experience renowned hallmarks of the St. Regis brand, including signature St. Regis Butler Service. Phenomenal Performance Ultimately, the Mulsanne Speed is all about performance. A re-engineered 6¾ litre twinturbocharged V8 engine propels it to 60 mph in just 4.8 seconds (100 km/h in 4.9 seconds) and a phenomenal top speed of 190 mph (305 km/h), the gear changes almost imperceptible, thanks to its 8speed automatic transmission. BUGAT Bugai has unveiled its Vision Gran Turismo, a hypercar designed for Polyphony Digital's everexpanding slate of fanciful, incredible cars designed for Gran Turismo's virtual world. It will be on the floor of the Frankfurt auto show later this month. The company says that the Vision Gran Turismo car celebrates Bugai's history, but you can clearly see strong elements of Veyron in here, and they've previously hinted that design elements on this car would foreshadow Bugai's future. In other words, we're probably seeing at least a few elements here from the Chiron, the company's next hypercar expected to launch next year for in excess of $2 million with well over 1,400 horsepower and a top speed approaching 300 miles per hour.

As a young child, Franco moved to Belgium with his family during the wave of Italian worker migration of the 1950’s. They seled in La Louvière, in those days home to a flourishing mining industry, where Franco grew up. Franco went on to study drama at the Conservatory in Mons where he fell in love with commedia dell’arte and political theatre. By then, his hometown, like other mining towns across Europe, was slowly becoming a ghost of its past. It is at this time that Franco first created his own works, translating the sorrows and dreams of those around him into emotionally-charged, living works of art.
In the 1980’s, action theatre crossed the Atlantic and reached Quebec. Franco followed suit and set foot in Montreal where he became a teacher at the Circus of Immaculate Conception. Franco soon joined the nascent Cirque du Soleil and played an instrumental role in their planetary ascent during the 1980’s and 90’s by signing no less than ten shows over twelve years as their Creative Director: Le Cirque Réinventé, Nouvelle expérience, Saltimbanco, Quidam, Mystère, Alegria, O, …

The Han Show is a celebration of the essence of the Han culture in Wuhan, China. Designed by world-renowned architect Mark Fisher and his team at Stufish, the company he founded, the theatre’s architecture is inspired by the “Red Lantern”. The Han Show is Dragone’s most ambitious entertainment endeavour and promises to delight patrons with unprecedented technical innovations and artistic feats. Giant screens mounted and manoeuvred by the largest robot arms ever made will work in tandem with the many surprises that await the 2000 spectators on opening night.
Le Rêve was inspired by an eponymous 1932-painting by Pablo Picasso. Franco’s aim was to create a brand new universe, to beckon people to a world where the theater, performance and the audience become one. Now performing at Wynn Las Vegas, the show features synchronized swimmers as they glide through the water, performing an elegant ballet. Aerialists soar through the air and dip into the aquatic stage. Huge nets rise from the water and high divers make the audience gasp as they plunge nearly 80 feet below. Dance, acrobatics, light and music are all part of the dream that is Le Rêve. The furthest seat is only twelve metres from the stage. Such arrangement nurtures a unique feeling of intimacy between the audience and the artists on stage.

Abu Dhabi is a city on the move. Not content with enjoying one of the world's richest oil reserves, the region has recently thrown itself into a massive programme of development. And one of the jewels in Abu Dhabi's crown is the new 5.55kilometre Yas Marina Circuit, which on November 1, 2009, hosted the country's inaugural Grand Prix. It was also the first F1 twighlight race, with powerful lighting ensuring a seamless transition from day to night.

Located on the spectacular Yas Island, the track is set to revolutionise the design of future Formula One circuits. Boasting top speeds of 320 km/h and average speeds of 195 km/h, it features nine right turns and 12 le turns and is one of the few venues on the calendar to run in an anti-clockwise direction.
Designed by renowned circuit architect Hermann Tilke, Yas Marina has a waterfront seing scenic enough to rival the likes of Monaco and Valencia. And with the track wrapping itself around the island's glamorous newly-built marina, there's plenty of mooring space for the paddock's plethora of yachts. Its distinctive design also boasts several innovative elements including the iconic five-star, 499-room Yas Viceroy Abu Dhabi hotel, which straddles the circuit; the 60-metre solar powered Sun Tower, which offers unrivalled views for invited guests; and a pit lane which sees the cars exit via a tunnel passing under the track.

Another world ďŹ rst is that all of the grandstands, including the massive hairpin seating area, are covered to protect spectators from the desert sun, whilst the state-of-the-art pit building boasts 40 air-conditioned garages. The track itself was designed with racing in mind. As well as the waterside marina area, there are high-speed sections (including the longest straight on the F1 calendar), tight corners for overtaking, and even a twisty street circuit-style sector. Overall, its diverse elements come together to create one of the longest and most demanding tracks in the world, where close and competitive racing is guaranteed.

Why go? It’s hard to find a more spectacular seing for a Grand Prix than Yas Island, on the eastern side of Abu Dhabi. It’s home to numerous 5-star hotels and the Ferrari Theme Park, and the 5.55kilometre (3.45-mile) Yas Marina Circuit is a suitably glamorous addition to the FIA Formula One World Championship. The track has many unique touches. It runs alongside the island’s spectacular marina; it passes under the new 5-star Yas Viceroy hotel and alongside a new 60-metre sun tower. The exit of the pit lane even crosses under the circuit.

“It's a very impressive facility and the track layout is fun, so it's a great place," says Williams driver Felipe Massa. "With Ferrari World just around the corner, the race has a strong Ferrari flavour." Away from Yas Island, Abu Dhabi has lots to offer. It’s the largest and wealthiest of the seven United Arab Emirates, with a crude oil supply that isn’t expected to run out until the 22nd century. Unlike some of its neighbours in the Gulf, Abu Dhabi has retained its local traditions and charms, making it an enjoyable and interesting stop-off.

Where to go? Abu Dhabi has a very cosmopolitan feel and there is something for everyone. There’s an eclectic mix of international cuisine to suit all budgets, starting at the Emirates Palace (for a time the world’s most expensive hotel) down to the cafe culture that prevails throughout the Middle East. For traditional Abu Dhabi cuisine, head to the area surrounding the fish market in Abu Dhabi city. There are plenty of other tourist aractions. If you want local culture, why not head to the camel market in Al Ain or the Abu Dhabi falcon hospital. And, of course, there is the aforementioned Ferrari Theme Park, covering 250,000 square metres and featuring a G-Force Tower, driving schools for children and adults, high-tech theatres and lots of cars on display.
From 2012 there'll be even more of an international flavour in Abu Dhabi, with the opening of the Louvre Abu Dhabi, the first Louvre museum outside France. Where to stay? All the best hotel chains are in Abu Dhabi - and many of them on Yas Island - so you can expect to be looked aer wherever you go. Most of the F1 luminaries stay in the 5-star Yas Viceroy hotel, which is just a short walk from the F1 paddock. But for those looking for more modest surroundings, there are cheaper options available in Abu Dhabi city.

Extended stay Once you’ve checked out Abu Dhabi city, why not head out into the Rub Al Khali desert, which is known locally as 'The Empty Quarter'. Only a short distance from the city limits, you’ll find yourself surrounded by sand dunes. The town of Al Ain is another popular tourist destination. It’s regarded as the spiritual heart of Abu Dhabi, having been built on seven oases and inhabited for more than 3,000 years. It’s on the Tentative List of World Heritage Sites of UNESCO.
Enthusiasts only There’s plenty to see at Yas Marina Circuit, aside from watching Formula One cars. There’s drag racing and an off-road driving centre, and you can test your own skills at a state-of-the-art kart centre.
