Tuvimos que aguardar pacientemente a que la emergencia sanitaria, por el COVID-19, presentara unas mejores condiciones para entonces preparar todo y así poder reunirnos nuevamente de manera presencial y llevar a cabo esta importante reunión que permite rendir cuentas, elegir al nuevo Comité Scout tomar las decisiones que marquen el rumbo de nuestra región en los , en Paraguay, es el lugar en donde nos encontraremos para Reconectar, Asociación de Scouts del Paraguay, anfitriona de esta Conferencia, nos recibirá con alegría y con hospitalidad. Sin embargo, sabiendo que para algunos será difícil hacerse presentes ahí, esta Conferencia ofrecerá la oportunidad de participar también a través de los medios electrónicos. After a long wait, the moment arrived. The Interamerican Scout Conference will meet again. We had to wait patiently during the health emergency, due to COVID-19, to present better conditions to then prepare everything and thus be able to meet again in person and carry out this important meeting that allows accountability, electing the new Interamerican Scout Committee and take decisions to mark the course of our region in the next three years. Ciudad del Este, in Paraguay, is the place where we will meet to Reconnect, Reunite and Recover Asociación de Scouts del Paraguay, host of this Conference, will welcome us with joy and hospitality. Ciudad del Este (Spanish for Eastern City) is the second-largest city in Paraguay and capital of the Alto Paraná Department. It is located 327 km from Asunción, the capital. Is adjacent to the border with Brazil, to which it is connected by the Friendship Bridge over the Paraná River. It is the largest city within the Triple Frontier region, which borders Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil and Puerto Iguazú, Argentina.
