Education is at the heart of every WorldStrides program, and no group knows this better than our experienced crew of academic professionals. From designing WorldStrides’ coursework for students to delivering thought-provoking workshops for teachers (and much, much more), our Curriculum and Academics team stands at the intersection of travel and learning, guiding student travelers toward scholarship, personal growth, and new areas of discovery.

All students are eligible to earn free high school credit for their participation on a WorldStrides travel program by completing an online course like Global Perspectives, Leadership and Character, or Environmental Studies.

Our Curriculum and Academics team does more than just grade these assignments—they share substantive feedback and encourage exposition, allowing each student to revise and resubmit their work until they reach breakthroughs in personal academic pride.

WorldStrides travelers can turn their program experience into a benefit that stays with them long after they’ve returned home by completing our college prep coursework, an achievement that stands out in college applications while introducing students to university-level academics.
