The annual World Travel Awards Ceremony is on its way. The glamorous evening will take place in Beaches Turks & Caicos Resort & Spa on the island of Providenciales, Turks & Caicos. The star studded gala will unveil who international travel agents and industry professionals have voted the World’s best operators and destinations in the industry. Recognised by Wall Street Journal as the international travel industry “Oscars”, the World Travel Awards is the world’s only global awards of its kind, honouring world class products of exceptional quality and value. The gala ceremony in the Caribbean will turn the spotlight on some of the people and companies behind the year’s best travel products.
Around 500 representatives from the travel trade, VIPs as well as local and international media from 30 countries from across the globe are expected for the 15th Annual World Travel Awards Gala Ceremony. After an outstandingly successful kick-off in the Africa (Durban) and crowd-pulling events in the Australasia (Sydney), Asia and Indian Ocean (Shanghai), USA (Orlando), Europe (Poprad, Slovakia), South America (Rio de Janeiro) and Middle East (Dubai) the focus is now firmly fixed on the upcoming grand finale in the Turks & Caicos Islands on the

The Turks and Caicos consist of 40 different islands and cays, only 8 of which are inhabited. The islands of the Turks and Caicos are almost as diverse as its people. From the main tourist centre of Providenciales to the quiet and tranquil islands of North and Middle Caicos to the historic Capital Island of Grand Turk; each one offers a different experience

Nearly 120 Asian and Indian Ocean companies and organisations walked away with the most prestigious awards in the international travel industry. The inaugural World Travel Awards Asia and Indian Ocean Ceremony, held at the Swiss么tel GRAND, Shanghai, is the 'Oscars' of the global industry, spotlighting the 'best of the best' in travel.
