My first con! My first con I participated in was J-popcon 2010. It was a great experience for me. A friend from school told me about the different con’s so I chose to attend a singel day for j-popcon 2010. From when I arrived and until the day was over, I did not at any time regret that I participated. J popcon was like a whole new world I knew of, which suddenly became even bigger, and I immediately received a lot of new friends in just one day sharing the same interiors as I did. Cosplaying has changed me a lot since the time I first attended a con, it made me feel the one I want to be, and not to be afraid to show my personality.
4
Since my first con I’ve developed a lot from buying cosplays to try to make them myselfe My first cosplay was just some clothes I found inside the closet, but as I participated more and more, my cosplays were also updated from when I started with normal daytime clothes for the first time to buy cosplays from the net, and until that I have begun making my own cosplays, as I am really happy and satisfied with the result.
Name: Sandra B. Banzon Tittel: Chief Editor & Graphicist Hobby: Cosplayer Next step: I’ve cosplayed a lot of different characters and have now decided to go one step further to form my own cosplay magazine for cosplayer.

CuteButt Cosplay Cosplay experienced I have been cosplayer since 2010 and would therefore say that I have some experience in cosplay. Personally I love challenges and have therefore worked with both sewing, armor crafting and props - the bigger the better. Beside I have also participated in two craftmanship competitions at J-popcon 2015 and Genki 206, I have not yet participated in the cosplay show with an act, but I dream of doing it one day, preferably with a group.

COSPLAY Interview
Cosplayer CuteButt Name: Carina Wagner Age: 18 year City: København Cosplay experience: 4 year Started cosplaying: 2012 Facebook: cutebuttcosplay Instagram: cutebutt_cosplay Blog: cutebuttcosplay.wordpress.com
Two weeks are enough to make a cosplay
What inspired you to cosplaye? I have been playing theater for ten years and have always loved to dress up. When I was less, I used all the chances of taking costumes on or sketching costumes. When I began to be interested in manga and anime, I went to the Copenhagen Sakura Festival with some friends and I was simply so inspired to see the many different cosplayers and cosplays that I could not but fall in love with the hobby and begin myselvfe.
My personal cosplay comment! Being cosplayer has added so much color to my life, both in terms of costumes and all the people you meet. I thought it’s amazing that there is an environment where everyone is welcome and can be just as they want. Personally, I also feel that it has helped a lot of my confidence and I dare much more - once you have gone for a walk on the streat in a cosplay, it does not seem so frightening to say anything in front of the class.
Why I chose that cosplay! I love the design and thought it would be a fun challenge. 9
Misao Cosplay Cosplay experienced Now I have cosplayed for 7 years, but I’m far from experienced. When I started, I bought my first costumes online, like so many others. Thanks to my friends, I had the courage to throw myself in different types of work processes. I know my own strengths and weaknesses and constantly try to evolve. There are always new methods to be tested, the possibilities are endless and I’m ready for battle.

Cosplayer Misao Name: Cecilie Bull Klarskov Alge: 23 year City: København Ø Cosplay experince: 7 year Started cosplaying: 2010 Facebook: Misao Cosplay
Nothing is impossible Just throw yourself in it
What inspired you to cosplaye? It was not what made me into the cosplay world but who. I’ve always had an interrese for comic’s when I meet a cosplayer who introduced me to the Danish cosplay environment. The person brought me to my first convention and is still one of my great inspirations today.
My personal cosplay comment! Cosplay has become an intimate part of my everyday life. It’s a way I can express my creativity in my spare time, but has also become part of my everyday life in terms of education and work. (Now you think I’m working like damage but I do not ha ha)
Why I chose that cosplay! My choice of costumes is based on my own interiors for the character, but also on the inspiration of my friends who often come with great ideas for a cosplays. I love that my friends also are over my character that they think I’m doing it well, makes me extra enthusiastic. 11
Katrine Cosplayer
What do you care about cosplaye? What I like most is the universe I can live and be a part of By cosplaying my idols, I can feel like one of them.
Do you buy your cosplay? My Cosplays I buy online at ebay or I get some help to sewing them.

You never get to old to cartoon
What inspired you to cosplaye? My friend who I met at HG told me about manga, anime and J-popcon she opened my eyes to the amazing world, and since then it has inspired me to cosplaye myself.
My personal cosplay comment! It means a lot that I can still hold on to my childhood ideas about playing heroes and idols and that nobody comes and tells me it’s childish. You may say that the childish mind is still in me, and I can still take advantage of it for as long as I want.
Why I chose that cosplay! When I first cosplayed to J-popcon 2015, I got convinced my boyfriend to cosplaye Yuki and Zero together from the anime vampire knight, and I agreed to cosplay Bulma and Vegita with him to Genki. Since I would like to cosplay with him in pairs of cosplays.
13
Thomas Cosplayer
What do you care the most about cosplaying? I most like the great togetherness you get with the people you meet.
Do you buy your cosplay? My Vegeta cosplay was assembled with stuff from home, and the wig did i bought on ebay. Normally I buy my cosplays from ebay, since I’m not the biggest sewing.

Treat others like you will be treated yourself
What inspired you to cosplaye? My girlfriend told me about the J popcon when we learned to knowing each other, she deeped it more for me for I had heard a little about it from the broadcast troll mirror.
My personal cosplay comment! Cosplay for me is an open opportunity to be myself understood in the way that I have always stayed outside because I have had trouble finding people with the same interests and childlike minds as myself so when i’m to the con i can let go and and not feel like a outsider.
Why I chose that cosplay! Since I’m a big fan of dragon ball z (but did not have the funds for full cosplay) Vegeta is not my favorite but when I wanted my girlfriend to come as a couple we compromised.

Personal cosplay comment!
Name: Nikita Kromann Age: 17 years City: Vordingbord Cosplay experiens: ca. 1 year Start cosplaying: 2015 - 2016
Well, I don’t have cosplayed for so long, so it’s hard for me to say which preference in cosplay I have. But I have some plans about some characters from games. Personally, I like to genderbend.
Instagram: NordKoreafan123
How was your first con?
What do you care about cosplaye?
What inspired you to cosplaye?
When I started cosplaying I was actually through a little difficult period, so I actually starting my first cosplay for that to fill my everyday life with something I enjoyed. So for me, cosplay is a way to relieve myself on, and a way to get some succe in the everyday life. Plus, that the community in“Cosplay” means much for me. Especially because everyone is so open, I have not yet met anyone who is judging over anybody. It’s really amazing.
I’ve always been a big fan of games, comics and anime. So just take my geek hobby to the next level. Plus, I love to be creative.
My choice of cosplay!
I was quite nervous at first because I did not know anyone there, but quickly got someone to talk to and had a great weekend. It’s a very open environment so it was really nice to be there. The cone itself had a lot of exciting things and there was no time I did not have fun.
How were your experiences? The whole cone seems to be a good experience, but if I’m going to find one that really stands out from others, I would probably have been to DC / Marvel photoshot. One bad experience was that one of the people I walked with din’t have it to well and we could not really get any help from the volunteers who were there.
I chose to cosplay Clementine from the walking dead because I think her character is strong and very inspiring. Plus it was a very simple beginning cosplay.

Midori Yang Cosplayer
My experiences for cosplaying! I started cosplaying in China more than 10 years ago. The first time going to a cosplay event I didn’t even have my costume and had to borrow a friend’s. My first cosplay experience was with out wig/accessories or props, even make up was not very well done. However I met a lot of friends in that event and it really brought me into a circle that was still very small at that time. After that I started to try to make my own cosplay costume and props by learning from tutorials. I started to meet more and more friends that share the same interest, more people started to get into cosplay, so we started creating cosplay teams.
Why i cosplay
There are just some charac the vibe to want to cosplay.
This includes the character’ and their outfit/prop design.
However even though a char my atttention on at first, I w time to understand the char it’s story and then decide w like to cosplay that character
I have entered a lot of stage performance competitions for cosplay and have won a fair share of awards. After I quit stage performance, I started to take more interest in large cosplay props, especially in making them. Because of Cosplay I was able to meet a lot more new friends in my new environment.

MY MIND
My personal idea about cosplaying!
To be a good cosplayer, I think it is important to find the character not only excite me but also fits me. This way it would give me more of a push for me to finish the cosplay. I believe it is important to recreate the character including outfit and prop as close to the originale as possible to the extend that my ability and capability has to offer. The last thing I feel important is always try to learn from others. There’s always something that someone else is doing that can make your cosplay better if you make it your own. It is also important to always challenge yourself and not to stay in your comfort zone for too long. This is the best way for improvement.

My experiences for cosplaying! At first I hand’t any experience. I learned to sew with a cousin and the quality of my costumes was not the best. But over the years, I learned new techniques, also I took professional course about Cutting and Sewing and today there is a big difference in my costumes, from the cut, to the composition of the fabric and the quality of it. In my cosplay props, just as everyone starts with paper and wood glue or cardboard, today I work with more expensive and practical materials such as Eva and Styrofoam. I also use cutting tools and sandpaper which is a great change also in the staffs, swords, bows etc.
Why i cosp
I was 14 when i met cosplay internet. I saw the pictures of people i found it very curious. Then I did my first cosplay of my cousin and at the tim know the online site to buy tried to use my hair to stay the character, I loved so mu that moment until today, I be a cosplayer and alread years. Such an addiction.

My personal opinion about cosplay is very simple. It’s a hobby, so I think it should be enjoyed by all ages, from children to older people. Everyone is free to cosplay to choose a character they like and embody and act like he or her. It’s also a fun way to create new friends and have a good time.

Small family business wins award for “The Game of the Year” Annemette, Malthe and Thor Lindemann are the creators of the board game “BEARD & CRAZY GLASSES”. They won on the weekend d. 24-25 Sep. 2016 in the category board games a title as “The company’s game of the year” and was rewarded the golden chip.
I 30
t started just like a cozy family project at home with family Lindemann from Balling.
They have founded Lindemann Creative Minds, which they each own 1/3 of.
Annemette and her two sons, Malthe at 13 and Thor at 22 years, did’t know what they were going into the night they got a good idea.
And it all started a Saturday evening at home in the family room where the two boys on 8 and 18 years old and their mother would like to have fun with a board game.
This idea led to the fact that the family has spent many hours of free time together over the last 5 years, for the three have been in a larger project.
As usual, they could not agree on a game that they all thought was fun and could play on equal terms despite the age difference and
where everyone had equal chances of winning. That’s why they decided that evening to invent their own! They would make ’The World’s Funest Games’ to themselves. How difficult can it be?
SKABERNE BAG SPILLET
They agreed on a number of requirements: • There must be learning • There must be movement • There must be opportunity to get a little laugh • There must be equal chances to win whether you are a child or a adult • It must be fun for all age groups and be able
With a presentation of their idea and prototype they came to the final and then took care of it! For the Lindemann family, that winning the golden piece is the absolute biggest - like a film director who just won an Oscar for ‘greatest movie’. When the news came that their games had been selected as one of the nominees, it was exactly the shoulder clap they needed.
to gather the family for a common experience And then, the creative family went on to cut, paste and model a finished prototype and created ‘BEARD & CRAZYGLASSES’. When they were almost finished after 3 years and had tested it on themselves and family, friends and classmates, they themselves thought it was so good that they Posed in an inventor competition. 31
Guldbrikken 5 years ago Annemette, Malthe and Thor sat in the living room and sketched sketches for a new and unique board game. On the weekend of Comic con they were on stage during the show in the Bella Center and accepted the prize for ’Company Games of the Year’. The jury has chosen ’BEARD & CRAZYGLASSES’ as a winner of the category because it is a socially engaging company game for the whole family. The jury further emphasized that the game can make the good atmosphere around the table the most important when both children and adults chalenge each other crazy challenges. For the family, all the way through has believed in the potential of their project. It has been the motivation during 5 years of ups and downs, where they have put their whole soul, most of their free time and a considerable amount of money
32
In the development, production, marketing and sale of their own board games ’BEARD & CRAZY GLASSES’. Do you ask Annemette and the boys about it have worth the price, they answer like this: ”We have not regretted anything. We have experienced so many fun and exciting things. we are so happy and proud of what we have created together as a family. and then it’s just that big and overwhelming to win gold bullet. With the prize ’Company Games of the Year’ is the family’s next goal to get a new game production started.

A ball Flexible steel Wire Tape Wire-cutter Red string / yarn
SAKURA FJER BUR A easy way for you to make a beautiful and elegant prop of almost nothing. The matrials can be purchased in the most places.
1. START With the thin wire and a sports ball, you start to shape the curves with the help of a wire-cutter. You can use tape to hold the pieces together to make it easier.
2. FILING When the ball is almost completely covered with the wire, leave an opening so you can take the wires of the ball gently. Are you unlucky that some of the wire smokes out of their location, then use some tape to put them back in place. Be sure the shape of the ball is as you want it to be, and be sure it’s firm and strong. With newsprint torn or cut in strips and some white glue, start applying the strips until all the wire is covered. You can keep laying more layers until you get the appropriate thickness you are satisfied with.
37
3. PAINTING Last use spray paint in gold to color it all. You can give it multiple layers of paint to give it a more gold shade in it.
4. ACCESSORIES For the flowers and the feather have there been used fimo clay, and then has been glued on to give the last finich to the ball.
38
5. FINAL Finally i used some red string / yarn, to make the red cord hanging from the bottom, by twist it.
