JCP Project - Petrochemical Complex CUSTOMER LOCATION OFFICE PHASE
SAUDI CHEVRON PHILLIPS AL-JUBAIL, SAUDI ARABIA HOUSTON, TEXAS, UNITED STATES
The USD$1.5 billion Chevron Phillips Petrochemical Complex at Al-Jubail, Saudi Arabia, is based on Saudi Aramco natural gasoline as feedstock. The complex produces styrene monomer, propylene, mogas, and cyclo-hexane and the facilities include the world’s largest single train styrene monomer plant (715 MTPY). As part of an Integrated Project Management Team (IPMT), WorleyParsons provided front-end engineering design (FEED), detailed design, and construction management. Global engineering and procurement activities were performed from eight locations worldwide with five different construction work sites with a result of zero Lost Time Incidents. WorleyParsons served as the site utilities integrator on behalf of the owner.

Rio de Janeiro Petrochemical Complex (COMPERJ) CUSTOMER PETROBRAS LOCATION ITABORAI, BRAZIL OFFICE HOUSTON, TEXAS, UNITED STATES PHASE CUSTOMER CHALLENGES COMPERJ was the largest industrial undertaking in the history of Petrobras and Brazil. With a total cost of USD$8.5 billion, it was one of the largest petrochemical complexes in the world. Today, COMPERJ processes 150,000 barrels per day of Marlin crude, which has
increased Brazil’s heavy oil refining capacity and produces petrochemical products for internal and external markets. PROJECT SERVICES WorleyParsons provided proven mega project management and delivery know-how to yield optimum
project execution to meet Petrobras’ goals and objectives. Our activities included: project integration services for the complex, licensing and basic design and front-end engineering design (FEED) for the Auxiliary Units, utilities and offsites, commissioning, and start-up.

NASA Project - SAP Production Facility CUSTOMER BASF-YPC COMPANY LIMITED (BYC) LOCATION NANJING, CHINA OFFICE BEIJING, CHINA PHASE CUSTOMER CHALLENGES In order to capitalize on emerging market in China, BASF-YPC Company Ltd. (BYC) has invested in a major capital venture of a production facility at the site located in Nanjing, China, consisting of Glacial Acrylic Acid (GAA), Super Absorbent Polymer (SAP), Butyl Acrylate (BA), Infrastructure and

Three million safe man-hour without Lost Time Injury (LTI) was achieved with more than 1,400 people involved in this project at peak time.
Marco Polo Project CUSTOMER EVONIK LOCATION SHANGHAI, CHINA OFFICE SHANGHAI, CHINA PHASE CUSTOMER CHALLENGES Evonik is expanding its global Isophorone (IP) and Isophorone Diamine (IPD) capacities with total investment EURâ‚Ź250 million in Shanghai, China. PROJECT SERVICES Evonik is a strategic customer to Worleyparsons
and our team in China worked very hard to secure this project to provide engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM) services. It is high quality execution project with total EPCM duration of 24 months. More than 150,000 dia-inch pipeline installation and hydro test completed
within 6 months. This makes it the first largest contract executed by WorleyParsons Shanghai office with support from China organization. The success of the project demonstrated the growing capability and confidence to deliver major projects from China as the Global Center of Excellence for chemical projects.

BASF Fine Chemicals Project - Antioxidant Production Line CUSTOMER BASF LOCATION JURONG ISLAND, SINGAPORE OFFICE SINGAPORE PHASE CUSTOMER CHALLENGES BASF, the world’s leading chemical company and global leader in plastic additives, is investing in a state-of the-art antioxidant production line in Jurong Island, Singapore. The investment will strengthen the production focus of its fine chemicals brand
and support customers in important growing markets. BASF fine chemicals product is a highly effective stabilizer, which provides long-term thermal stability for organic substrates such as plastics, synthetic fibers, adhesives, waxes, oils and fats.
PROJECT SERVICES The WorleyParsons’ team worked hard to deliver the front-end engineering design (FEED) for the project, which included the removal of an existing production train and the design and installation of a new train, re-utilizing as much of the original equipment as possible.

Ma’aden Phosphate Development - Phosphate Beneficiation Plant CUSTOMER MA’ADEN PHOSPHATE COMPANY LOCATION AL JALAMID, SAUDI ARABIA OFFICE MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA; AL KHOBAR, SAUDI ARABIA; BEIJING, CHINA PHASE CUSTOMER CHALLENGES The Ma’aden Phosphate Development located in Saudi Arabia is one of the world’s largest producers of di-ammonium phosphate, a fertilizer for use in grain and horticulture. PROJECT SERVICES This USD$4.5 billion (direct capital cost) phosphate
project being managed by WorleyParsons focuses on the economic development of the major phosphate resource rock located at Al Jalamid. The full project development involves the design and construction of a beneficiation plant and associated infrastructure located at Al Jalamid, a major fertilizer complex and port facilities at Ras Az Zawr,
a new 1400 km rail link between Al Jalamid and Ras Az Zawr for processing and a power generation plant. WorleyParsons’ commitment to supporting Ma’aden in maintaining their schedule and creating a multinational workforce focused on safety, quality and cost has been invaluable in assisting Ma’aden to achieve their business objectives.

Global EPCM Alliance CUSTOMER BASF LOCATION GLOBAL PHASE BASF and WorleyParsons began their present close collaboration in 2010 in China. In 2011 building on the performance of these initial engineering efforts BASF and WorleyParsons entered into two Service Contracts: for Asia region, including Brazil and India, and for Canada and United States. Since the inception of the relationship in Asia WorleyParsons has worked on more than 20 capital investment projects, which are presently at various stages from inception through to commissioning in China, Singapore and more recently in Thailand, Malaysia, United States and Brazil.
