aldwin Park residents continued to celebrate the holiday season Friday, Dec. 11, with the 2021 Jingle Bell Run on New Broad Street. The Arthritis Foundation’s original Jingle Bell Run was a fun way for locals to get decked out and be festive, while racing to raise funds and awareness to cure America’s No. 1 cause of disability. People and pets from across Orlando gathered to usher in the holiday spirit with refreshments, kid’s activities, music, a silent auction, a visit from Santa, a holiday costume contest and more. Opening ceremonies followed shortly after the registration and check-in with special performances by the Colonial High School band. Jake Murray was the male first-place finisher, and Kaitlyn Soltis followed closely after as the female first-place finisher. After the completion of the race, Rock and Brews and the 1845 Tap House hosted a post-race party complete with a beer garden area.
