The I nslitufc chapter, Gamn1a Delta, w:e:~ offecinlly chartered on June 2, 1950. Professors Theodore II , }forgan, William R. Grogan, and Owen W . Kennedy make up its faculty members, the latter being the ft'l culty udviscr. This year, the socirty has been under the guidance of president, Uonukl S. Oliver. Other officers con ~ isl or vice-president, Raymond G. Giguere ; recording sccrrtary, J ohn (), Morin ; corresponding secretary, Richard P. Sumolis; treasurer, Unvid B. Hathaway i and /Jridge corresp11ndent, George R. Polen. Activities of Eta Kappa Nu include active col)peration with the AlEE in plunninK ancl wntJucling the Student Forum and the Spllrk Dance. At the present lime 1he group is planning a program ln instruct the students in taking job interviews. Rcprc<;rntatives frnm various industries ;ere being invit ed to speak lo the class. Help will also be given to :\'l il'S Allen, the department secretary, in r11a intaining a fete contuining informa tion on companies that will be interviewing seniors throughout the year. The group is constantly trying w think up constructive projects to improve their department.
