M u rray ’s biggest accom plishm ents cam e on the basketball court as she finished w ith 1,081 points (sixth all tim e), 641 assists (first all tim e), and 323 rebounds from the point guard p o sition. An A ll-N ew E ngland se c ond team A ll-S tar in 1987, she w as the first w om an to dish out 500 a s sists. She still holds the W PI record for assists in a gam e w ith eight which she did tw ice during the 1982-83 season. M urray w as an im portant m em ber o f the 1984 team that w ent to the N C A A tournam ent — the only team to attain that honor. At W P I, M urray m ajored in m e chanical engineering and w as a m em ber o f the D elta Phi E psilon sorority. You can build a replica of a campus building, construct a laboratory model or depict som e aspect o f WPI life. You are lim ited only by your own imagination! A panel o f judges will evaluate and score each entry based on achievem ent in three categories: 1) Quality o f C onstruction, includ ing visual appeal and craftsm anship 2) C reativity, including innovative use o f m aterials and the idea o f the hole 3) T hem e, based on relevance to W PI The organization w ith the highest aggregate score will be declared the W inner and w ill receive the The Hom e com ing ’94 M iniature G o lf Design Com petition Trophy during the halftim e cerem onies at the H om ecom ing Football G am e. Entry forms have been sent to all student organiza tions and extras are available in the Student A ctivities O ffice. Participa tion is limited to nine (9) holes; first com e, first served. Once a group has entered, it w ill receive inform ation about the dim ensions and shape of the platform . The platform will consist o f a plywood base at least 4' w ide and 8' long.
