ABOUT THE INTRO TO MEDITATION SESSION Mindful meditation is an ancient practice anchored in science. It is proven to change the brain, making it easier to stay calm, remain positive, sustain focus, combat stress, and increase productivity. Whether you are new to meditation or a seasoned practitioner, this 30 minute class is designed to provide you with time to pause, breathe, de-stress, and reconnect. Each class will begin with a brief discussion, move into a meditation practice, and end with a Q&A. You will need a chair with back support to sit on or a meditation cushion.
ABOUT THE INTRO TO YOGA SESSION Begin the day with a 45 minute yoga class designed to wake up the body and alleviate stress. This series is for beginners and experienced practitioners alike. Each class will gently move through a sequence of postures designed to release physical tension, increase mobility, relax the muscles, sharpen attention, and reduce stress. We will practice a combination of reclined, seated, and standing postures. Please wear loose fitting clothes to move. No shoes required. You will need a yoga mat or a large towel to practice on. Option to have a folded blanket and pillow for extra support.
