ROUX’S NEWS E-books - You can access the more

than 55,700 new e-book records that have been added to the Library’s collection in recent weeks. Just visit the Roux Library catalog at fsc.kohalibrary.com/ cgi-bin/koha/opac-search.pl to access the e-books.

New Digital Collections - The library has also added digital copies of FSC yearbooks from 1911-1912, 1924, and 1926-2004 to the Internet Archive collection.

These collections are accessible through the library’s digital collections page, www.flsouthern.edu/digitalcollections/, by clicking on “Florida Southern College Yearbooks.”

New Visitor’s Center - The library also keeps a blog with updates and photos of construction on the new Frank Lloyd Wright Usonian-designed Tourism and Education Center. Check it out at usonianvisitorscenter.blogspot.com/ to keep current on the developments of this exciting new FSC facility!

Florida Southern Welcomes Three New Leaders in June Florida Southern College is thrilled to welcome these three energetic leaders to our community.

Dr. Kyle Fedler has joined our institution as the new provost and vice president of academic affairs. He comes to Florida Southern College from Huntingdon College in Montgomery, Alabama, where he served as vice president for academic affairs and dean of the faculty.

Dr. Fedler earned his undergraduate degree from Colorado College, holds a master of divinity from Columbia Theological Seminary, a master of sacred theology from Yale Divinity School, and completed his doctoral studies at the University of Virginia.

Mr. John Grundig will serve as the new vice president of enrollment management. Mr. Grundig comes to us with an outstanding record of achievement in enrollment management, most recently at Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where he was the vice president for admission and financial aid. He graduated from the University of North Florida with a B.S. in health and earned his M.B.A. at Jacksonville University.

Mr. David Weagle is the incoming vice president for marketing and communications. He began his career at The State University of New York at Potsdam before joining the successful marketing team at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where he most recently served as regional director of enrollment management and marketing. Mr. Weagle holds a bachelor of arts degree from the State University of New York at Potsdam and a master’s degree in management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He is currently in the final stages of completing a master of business administration at EmbryRiddle.

Class of 2011 According to the National Association of Colleges and Employers, employers plan to hire 19.3 percent more graduates this year than they did in 2010. This is great news for our recent grads!
