Get Ready for Blueprint for Wellness On-site Screening April 2-3 The General Board of Pension and Health Benefits (GBOP) has partnered with Quest Diagnostics to offer the Blueprint for Wellness screening program as part of the HealthFlex wellness program. This is the same employee event we held last year. For 2012, we will once again be offering this incentive with an on-site event April 2 and 3 in the Collegiate Room. Blueprint for Wellness includes a comprehensive blood screening and biometric measurements. The blood screening takes a comprehensive look at heart disease risk, diabetes risk and management, kidney and liver health, and other total body health issues. Eligible participants include active employees enrolled in HealthFlex and their spouses as well as those retirees actively enrolled in the Medicare companion plan. (Only participants and spouses in active plans are eligible for the $100 HealthCash incentive.) (Continued on back) If you have news you would like to include in future editions of The Wright Word, we would love to hear about it! Please send news to kpawlak@flsouthern.edu.

Work got you on the edge of your seat? When you use these tips, you can sit back, relax and enjoy improved posture and comfort while you work. • Avoid overcrowding computer work areas and remove clutter from under your desk. • If feet don’t rest flat on the floor, use a footrest or other object to provide support. • Place the phone on the side of your non-dominant hand and frequently used items within easy reach. • Adjust your computer monitor to avoid glare and keep the screen clean. • Place the keyboard directly in front and close to you, keeping your arms bent at 90 degree angles.
