Bucks Cross Country Championships
Campbell Park The first cross country race of the new year, the Bucks Cross Country County Championships, took place in Milton Keynes. A very wet and muddy course awaited the athletes across all of the age groups. A seven strong senior men’s team came away with 3rd place involving a 6th place for Kieran Lindars and further top 20 placings from Scott Ramsell and Roger Seed who were 19th and 20th respectively. Tim Jones took the gold in the V60 category finishing a minute and a half ahead of his nearest rival.
Other top 10 performances came in the shape of a bronze for Ewan Maxwell in the U17 men, a 5th for Thomas Fell in the U20 men and Sophie Delderfield finishing 8th in the senior women’s race. Sophie was also the 2nd V35 and Charlotte Steptoe was 3rd V40. Full VoAAC results:
