Chiltern League - Match 2

2023 CHILTERN LEAGUE MATCH 2 – 12TH NOVEMBER The second Chiltern League match of the winter season took place at the Teardrop Lakes in Milton Keynes. This match incorporated the UKA Cross Challenge and Home International so the senior men had over 500 finishers in their race alone! There were 12 VoAAC senior male athletes running with GB triathlete Kieran Lindars first home for the VoAAC in 94th place (23rd in the Chiltern League race) with Max Nicolle just a few seconds behind in 96th (24th in the Chiltern League race.) Tim Jones was 3rd vet 60 home in the Chiltern League race. Emile Jansen Van Rensburg led the U15 boys team home in 46th place (14th Chiltern League) and Rufus Martin did the same for the U13 boys finishing in 36th position (16th Chiltern League). The U11 boys had an 8 strong team out with two top 10 finishes headed by Luca Dolan in 4th (2nd Chiltern League) and Bali Horten in 10th (8th Chiltern League). For the Senior Women, Daisy Goldhagen was 138th (54th Chiltern League) with Louise Card not far behind in 148th (60th Chiltern League). Lucy Cuthbert (83rd overall, 23rd Chiltern League) and Iona Esslemont (96th overall, 32nd Chiltern League) were the two VoAAC competitors for the U17 women, while Lucinda McRonald led the Vale home in the U15 girls race in 39th (13th Chiltern League). Gabriella Cheung ran well for 24th overall (12th Chiltern League) in the U13 girls age group while the U11 girls had two Vale athletes in attendance with Ellie Acheson in 23rd (18th Chiltern League) and Hannah Edwards 41st (30th Chiltern League).
