Culture Clash Johnsonville’s Kiya Basabas will showcase her debut play which started on a serviette two years ago, at the New Zealand Fringe Festival next month. The 20-year-old former Newlands College pupil’s play Potluck centres around three Filipino families in modern day Wellington who come together for a potluck dinner and explores themes of identity, sacrifice and the immigrant experience.
