Khandallah Pool future By Jacob Page

Onslow-Western ward Wellington City councillor, Diane Calvert has reiterated her support for the future of Khandallah Pool after its forced closure for several days last week. The community pool has to be closed for several days after the correct chlorine could not be sourced

to ensure the water was safe for swimmers. The closure on hot days in the middle of the summer holiday period lead many to speculate Wellington City Council was angling to close the pool. However, Diane has confirmed she and council remain committed to the future of the facility. Continued on page 2.

Wellington City councillor Diane Calvert has thrown her support behind Khandallah Pool and its future after chlorine issues saw it close for several days over the summer holidays.
